Going without rest for longer periods taxes your ability to function, including your endurance. I think it's probably even worse for humans who go without, because their systems aren't as flexible.

The Espresso is strong to keep you awake for longer?

I would guess that that would also wear on human systems if done for too long. Or you would build up a tolerance and it would become less effective.

Well... you're in good company. A lot of people I've met so far weren't human before they got here.

I just do. I'm used to it. It's familiar.

Coffee does. Usually.

[Cassandra has honestly not found this to be the case, but maybe she just hasn't tried the right kinds of coffee.]

How do you make it taste better? Or is it just something you need to get used to?

Well, that depends. A lot of people add milk and sugar to their coffee. Some people add cinnamon. Or chocolate. And there's probably hundreds of fancy coffee drinks at Starmiebucks.

Just depends on what you like.

Well yeah. They're a coffee shop chain in this world.

On the expensive side, but they work out in a pinch.

And snacks. Some food.

But mostly coffee.

Is that commmon? Stores that only sell certain kinds of food?

[Yes, her world has taverns and the like, but they usually serve meals with their ale.]

It is, here. There's specialty places, but there's also general restaurants too.

Does that mean there are places that only sell food for pokemon?

It does, yeah. And there should be in most towns.

There are a lot of things like that here, aren't there? Things that are the same as for humans, but for Pokemon.

Yeah, there are.

Just be careful if you need a haircut - you might end up getting one meant for Pokemon.
