Thankfully that Lance had the presence of mind to slap down a nice fat deposit to tempt the Eterna City Resort Hotel staff into setting aside the best and biggest table they have for a long overdue Team Voltron bonding session before going upstairs and blowing the rest of his trainer's savings on a room for him and Pidge for the next two weeks.

Unfortunately for all, this means that they're all on their own for whatever they eat and drink, including what Lance eats and drinks (But isn't that why one has a spouse to pay their portion of the bill?) Everybody can say Lance loves the finer things in life and that his tastes run to the pricier side of them, but no one can say he's much of an event planner. Or a planner at all.

That is why he's the one sending out dinner invites to the team, not leading them into war.

[Is it dumb to be so excited? Maybe. Maybe Lance's enthusiasm for it has rubbed off on her. Or maybe it's just been a while since the whole team gathered together in one room and Pidge is looking forward to it. Either way, she's excited. With Lance's help she's even picked out some nice clothes - a simple blazer in green with some grey cut offs and boots - for the dinner, and is already there with him when the time arrives.

As everyone starts to wander in they'll find her examining the menu, brows slightly furrowed at the prices and seeming to murmur to herself about whether or not they can actually afford to eat here.]

Talk about a fancy restaurant. Romelle was pretty sure she hadn't ever seen a place like this before. Most of the places where she and Team Voltron had been after Keith brought her along from the colony were kind of beat up because of the war. And, well, the colony certainly didn't have anything like it, either. So, consider her properly awed as she walked in and looked around. She didn't have a lot of clothes, yet, either, having grown up with a very slimmed down lifestyle overall, so she was used to not having a lot. But she did try, at least, having tied her hair up more and wearing something at least a little fancier than the trainer's outfit she'd been given on starting out. She'd learned that having nice clothes was important for these things, thanks to the shopping trip to find Allura an outfit for the date back on Earth.

Overall, she was just happy to see her friends, and apparently meet some significant others in the process! (Or learn which of her friends had hooked up... which... she was kind of eyeing Pidge, Lance, Keith, and Allura...)

[ After an interesting (?) encounter with some herbs, Keith has been in a suspiciously zen mood for most of the evening. For once, he's not even scowling or keeping his eyes on the door of the restaurant to keep track of who's entering and exiting the premises.

While he hadn't thought to pack extra fancy clothes for the Sinnoh trip, he shows up to dinner presentably enough. The place is definitely much fancier than he thought it would be, and if he weren't just a little out of it, he'd be concerned about the prices, but as it is.... he's reading over the menu and grinning over at Lance and Pidge. ]

You guys are covering the tab, righ? I can't pick what I want to eat. We should order one of everything.

[ Someone intervene?? ]

There's a brief moment, in the minutes between the message's arrival and his response, when Hunk is almost tempted to come up with some excuse for why he can't make it. The fact that it's happening at the resort just has him rolling his eyes. There's a reason he'd opted for the Inn, and it wasn't just that he couldn't afford it.

But in the end, his response is an affirmative. And now, here he is, strolling into the fanciest building he's seen in quite a while. It wouldn't have been his first choice of venue, but there's nothing he can really do about it now but try to enjoy himself. He hasn't dressed up because wardrobe hasn't really been a priority here, but it's obvious that he's bathed and changed into clean clothes.

He even manages a smile when he spots the others. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

[It's a fancy restaurant. So, naturally, he'll do his best to dress for the occasion. Which means none of his usual hideous Alolan shirts. A nice suit jacket. But look closely at the grey shirt under it and... you may lose your faith in Shiro a little bit.]

[Part of him wanted to duck this outing, just because he knew who all was invited, but - he couldn't do that to the others. Not even a little. He'll just make sure he keeps his alcohol intake is nonexistent. Then it'll be fine.]

[And he's right on time as he takes his seat, taking the opportunity to snag the drink menu and order a fancy juice mix. Hey, if he's not actually going to drink, he can look like it.]

Hey guys - it's good to see all of you in one place for a bit. I think we need to thank Lance for making this all possible. And I really appreciate him taking the time and effort to pull this together. We're still a team, still a lot like family - this is a great reminder.

[Sorry about the speechifing a little.] But... seriously, what have you all been up to?

Thace was invited, so he arrives on time. At least he isn't in the gi he usually has on? This outfit is mostly reddish-orange and black, recognizable as something many Pokemon rangers tend to favor on duty. It is probably (definitely) the only other outfit he has at this point, because clothes are so very low on his list of items to spend items on.

His Whismur is in her usual sling against his chest, and if any of the staff look like they might want to speak up about it, Thace narrows eyes at them. She's wearing a pink ribbon and looking very cute, at least?

Thace will nod or say hello to everyone present, but it's clear that he's not sure why he was invited when the only person he really had a chance to meet at home was Keith. Still, it's polite to accept an invitation, so he's trying! And if he's listening to conversations around him to try to pick up names instead of just asking, well, old habits?
