I suppose not. Yet some people like that level of community. When they are traveling alone for long stretches of time on routes or through caverns, it can make a soul less alone.
We are all strangers to this land. While we may not all come from the same place, that much is something we have in common. Remembering that is reassuring.
I suppose not. Still, sometimes that is the way of things: no matter what you do, you cannot control another person, and so things may not turn out how anyone wants.
That is rather philosophical for someone who has just arrived, however. No doubt you have to adjust to a great deal here. Is there anything I can do to help?
That is understandable. Sudden questions like these do have a tendency of leaving one feel off-guard and unsure on occasion.
Still, I do want to let you know that there are many people here who would help you, if you ever had need of it. Even if you do not see another person around you, then you do not necessarily have to be alone.
I offer myself as someone who will come help, if you need it.
I suppose it would depend on where you are right now. If you are new here and have just arrived in New Bark Town, then Cherrygrove City would likely be the closest place for you.
There you can find work, for funds, and be able to more comfortably decide on your goal in this place.
Curiosity is a good trait, although hopefully it doesn't get her into trouble. You seem as though you are a lot calmer for all of this. Is there anything that you are looking forward to?
[Better to look forward to something than hate it, or, potentially worse, be in a terrible dissociative state and come out thinking this is the afterlife.]
I agree. The cities here are incredible to me, with how different the buildings and technology are compared to my home, but many of them shine too brightly. I have been told it is "light pollution", where the light they emit blocks out the night sky.
It is a shame, honestly, and I relish getting to travel for that reason. It is nice to see someone else who shares the same feeling.
May I ask what it was designed for, and if that has something to do with the number attached to its name? I hope that isn't rude, but Faerghus naming conventions are somewhat different.
After Second Impact, the original Tokyo was destroyed, and two separate cities were developed to replace it. Tokyo-2 was designed to house government officials, and ours, Tokyo-3, was designed to support military action against the Angels.
[There appears to be some history here that he is unaware of... but he thinks he can understand it all roughly. Some sort of disaster or tragedy befell a city, and its replacement was split into two. And presumably...]
I take it these Angels were responsible for the Second Impact, or connected to it in some way?

That is sensible, Mr. Blaiddyd. But must such communication be done in public?

I think as long as you make an effort to simply understand people, focusing on the good we can all do, then that helps even if you cannot relate.

[One more way of atoning for what he's done.]

If you asked me, of course I would help.
