He's got Mighty at his heels as he usually tends to be these days, but his other Eevee pair is with him too. Or, rather...prior Eevee. They're an Umbreon and Espeon now, trotting after him at a slightly slower gate than Mighty, who is already rushing up to jump up on Katsuki's knee.

Either they were extremely lucky, or they were actively looking for one. Even in routes where they can be found, Feebas aren't exactly the most common Pokémon around.

Pokemon evolve. Feebas don't exactly stay ugly... but you gotta take care of 'em, or they'll never reach their full potential. Pretty sure that involves making them look as good as possible, but I've never worked with one hands on.

[That's always been the... interesting thing about them, compared to Magikarps. A gyrados would probably be easier for Riku to obtain. Just switch train until it evolves. Easy.
