[The camera opens right on some quality Riolu toebeans. Which is to say, it's the Riolu who figured out where the record button was, but hasn't got a great grasp of where the camera is. He's picked up back into his trainer's arm's momentarily, a short young-looking woman who is...squinting very much at the pokegear.]

...I have several questions.

Primary among them, I believe, is how much this one should be eating.

[She does turn the camera a bit, to her surroundings--to display the bento someone immediately devoured.]

And, perhaps, where I...might find food myself.

[There's some fumbling, but she is trying to turn the video off...it takes her so long some wild pokemon seem to have shown up out of sheer...concern? Hunger? Here to watch the show? You know maybe that's alarming to see a heracross just loom out behind her before she turns the video off. Ooops.

I imagine your partner will be fine, especially if it plans to get some exercise battling.

Though as for food, if you're not far yet from the town you awoke in, you may be able to purchase a few basic supplies there. Otherwise, there's usually wild fruits and such that can be found. They may not be much, but it's only a few days to the next town, so they can keep you going until then.

That said, be careful of the large berries the Pokémon eat. They're perfectly fine for the Pokémon, but can be unpleasant for humans.

Yes, though despite the name, for all practical purposes it's more of a sport here than anything. The Pokémon themselves are rarely truly injured, and then usually only by accident, and many of them genuinely enjoy participating.

I suppose if he does keep eating that much, he'll need some kind of exercise before he gets rounder.

*well, his world's definitely no picnic, but at the moment Sion's not really thinking about that part at all seeing as having a new arrival talking about her young son is hitting home for him in unexpected ways right now. Fortunately though he's well-practiced at keeping inconvenient feelings hidden and recovers his composure quickly enough that most probably wouldn't even notice it slipped in the first place*

If it's any consolation, as far as anyone's been able to determine, whatever time one spends here has no affect on their own world. That is, whenever you return, it will be to the same moment that you left.

Though it's uncommon, there have been a few instances of people who came here being returned to their own worlds for a time, then arriving here once again. Those that remembered their prior stay have indicated that they'd returned to things just as they'd left them.

But most people here don't really stand on formalities, and what you do and achieve while here certainly matters more to the locals than whatever one might have been back home.

I doubt most people would mind you introducing yourself with your proper title, but I've always found it makes things easier not to make a mention of such things if not necessary, myself.

There's a difference between hiding it, and simply not mentioning it when there's no reason to, I should think.
