So...right now Mira and I were traveling on Route 45. We're still some time out, but eventually it loops back around, and we'll pretty much be close to where we started, right?

We were talking about what we wanted to do after that, and...we're thinking about maybe finding a place to live first? Neither of us have started the gym challenges yet, but I think I'd prefer to have a more permanent place to stay first before doing that, just so we have somewhere to go back to in between taking on the gyms, y'know?

But I'm not entirely sure how to go about...getting a house? It was never really a problem back where we came from, but I know things are pretty different here. So maybe if anyone has any advice for places that are affordable or anything? That'd be a big help.

Could you? That'd be a lot of help! I'm not really sure what I'm doing, to be honest, so I'd appreciate any help you could give us.

I wouldn't mind someplace a bit more out of the way, to be honest. Mira and I are a little more used to smaller towns than big cities, so that wouldn't be too bad. Plus at least there are the warps if we need to get to somewhere else quick.

And I've gotten to like the ocean too. We didn't get to see it back home.

I can understand that desire completely. While the sea was something that came to Faerghus's coasts, it was quite opposite from the sea in Olivine. Colder, and more prone to ice and snow.

[Not the kind of place you would sunbathe at.]

I will be sure to send you the realtor's contact information, then... Oh, and I can compose the list of questions that Grant made sure to ask about every property! He is quite experienced in matters such as these, and knows a good deal about things such as pipes, and roofing.

The houses he showed us only but a year ago were quite nice....

[He's kind of right! Just not in the way he might think.]

Oh, yes. We were able to pool our resources together, of course, and there were many of us... So that did contribute to some things.

But I'm positive that you can also find more things to your specifications, if you simply tell the realtor of them, if none of those appeal or are available. They were rather nervous at times, but... I think that might have been Felix's fault.

Felix intimidates, sometimes.

Oh really? That would be pretty helpful, huh. [ Since it was just her and Mirabel, they'd have to be more conscious about how things cost.

She can't help a small laugh. ] Did he at least apologize afterwards? Or did he not realize that he might have scared them a little?

I'm sure Mira and I will be able to find something. But I really do appreciate all the help. Where did you guys end up settling down, if you didn't choose these houses?

[ The area is certainly nice, but she can't deny that it'd be better if she at least knew some people in the area too. ]

Oh, no... No. Felix does not tend to apologize for being... intimidating. [A sigh, but it's tinged with fondness.] It was something that the rest of us had to manage for that set of visits.

Although we did choose one location! It has a lovely pond on its premises, and a small building set away from the main. It was something of a tight squeeze, but... I rather liked it.

In the end, however, I had a place built personally, just outside of Olivine, a short walk to the beaches. It was the only way that I could be certain we could all be accommodated for.

Ah. Well, at least you guys were able to choose a place. It must be a lot nicer to have built your own place, though.

[ Maybe she and Mira could do that someday, if they could get enough money. ]

And hey, if Mira and I choose a place in Olivine, we'd kinda be neighbors.

I would be glad if that were your choice! Truth be told, I understand that many choose to dwell in Goldenrod, and I cannot fault that reasoning. It is the heart of this country in particular, with roads that lead to many places, and where so much happens every day.

But the sweet waves of Olivine... They are pleasant. And I rather like the calm that settles here in this city, and the lands about it.

Yeah. Goldenrod would be pretty convenient as far as travel goes. But Mira and I are used to smaller, quieter towns. And we really like getting to see the ocean.

But we'll definitely think on it.

Nah, I don't think it's cheating. Though honestly Mira really likes most colors. She kind of leans a bit towards teal or greenish, but honestly she enjoys anything bright and vibrant.

Oh sure! If he makes things, I bet Mira would love to meet him too. Mira is really creative, so it'd be good for her to make friends that she can share that with.

He is more a chef and a gardender than anything else... but I am positive that he would be glad to meet her.

His name is Dedue - a quite recognizable man, with his height and hair as white as snow.

Indeed. I can understand why some may crave a space of their own, but, well... What I like so much about having my own home is how I can connect and entertain others.

I will be sure to have him with me, then, when I come visit. We will undoubtedly bring food - as is only proper!

Yeah, I do kind of miss that too. We used to have a lot of gatherings back home in our world too, so it would be nice to be able do something like that again.

Oh, I can understand that well enough. I also struggled, once upon a time, with such things. We will be sure to pass along some recipes and the like as well, then.

Although some of them may be a bit different from what you are used to, if we stick to purely Faerghan cuisine... Well, it shall be fine, I imagine. We have all learned many more things since arriving in Johto.
