So...right now Mira and I were traveling on Route 45. We're still some time out, but eventually it loops back around, and we'll pretty much be close to where we started, right?

We were talking about what we wanted to do after that, and...we're thinking about maybe finding a place to live first? Neither of us have started the gym challenges yet, but I think I'd prefer to have a more permanent place to stay first before doing that, just so we have somewhere to go back to in between taking on the gyms, y'know?

But I'm not entirely sure how to go about...getting a house? It was never really a problem back where we came from, but I know things are pretty different here. So maybe if anyone has any advice for places that are affordable or anything? That'd be a big help.

...uh, thanks.

It may seem like a lot to consider, but really all these matters are related. And if you're in no rush, you can take the time to think it all over.

You might want to consider simply renting a place at first, then, if nothing particularly strikes your fancy before then.

That depends on what you consider difficult. It wouldn't necessarily be that hard to source the raw materials, for example, but then you would need to decide whether to hire someone to design it for you, or attempt to do it yourself, and the same for the actual construction. If you happen to know how to design and build then it would be fairly simple, but if you don't it would be harder or more expensive than otherwise.

There are certainly simpler designs here, too, although if you're not experienced in handling the plumbing and wiring you would certainly need someone for that.

And yes, though undeveloped land tends to be significantly less expensive than land where something's already built. Which is why some people opt to have construction done themselves.

That's essentially what Ryner and I did when we chose to have a house built south of Ecruteak City. It was far enough to allow for enough space for our combined rosters, but near enough that it's only a short walk to the city.

While they are remarkably comfortable with their balls, and adept at dealing with cramped quarters when needed, it's certainly convenient, yes.

Of course, even if you have a smaller property that's near a part or such, you could regularly take the larger ones there to have some free time.

Don't worry too much if you can't find something 'ideal', in any case. While it would be nice, often rather than getting something that's already perfect it's more common to adapt and work with what's available. And I'm sure your Pokémon will understand, too, especially if you put in an effort to accommodate them.
