Event: The Reveal Glass

Across the Pokémon world, characters may have spotted a falling star last night. Or at least, one would think that's what it was: a naturally occurring phenomenon, rather than a legendary artifact. Specifically, the Reveal Glass fell to earth during a fight among a group of legendaries started by the return of a long-lost family member. But it's probably best to leave them to handle all that themselves, while your characters deal with other consequences.
The Reveal Glass shattered upon impact, and the shards scattered throughout Kanto, Johto, and the Sevii Islands… And made their way into the hearts of your characters. But bleeding isn't the concern here. Instead, the impact will hit when a character first looks into any reflective service. An eerie feeling hits them as they're transported to the Mirror Dimension.
While this realm can be many different things for different characters, one thing is always true: It is a place of honesty, where true selves are revealed. Those struck by a shard will find themselves facing truths they are no longer able to hide, and now must accept. Fortunately enough, even those who haven't been struck will be able to enter the Mirror Dimension during this event via a reflective surface to offer help. By the end of the 29th, things will return to normal. Characters will be back in the usual Pokémon world and their hearts will be rid of the shards, but time is strange in the Mirror Dimension, and the experience may feel like it goes on far longer than a day. Or, maybe that's just the emotional exhaustion.
The Reveal Glass plot is here. You can swing by the event info post for additional details and FAQ, and play out your characters’ enforced therapy on this post. As with most VR events, this plot is entirely optional and your characters don't need to take part at all.

“I had hoped he would see me as something other than a selfish princess. I think I failed.”

"Why do you think that?" he frowns. It's hard for him to imagine anyone seeing her that way.
no subject
She heaves a sad sigh, wringing her hands a bit again.
“He doesn’t remember.”
no subject
"That must be so hard. I don't know how I'd handle it if my friends came and didn't remember."
Or if Kalin came and didn't remember....

“He saved me, and saw me for who I was. He told me he didn’t care about my title or position. That he followed me for what he saw in me, and he would serve me until my song was written. But now… I have to wonder if it was all a lie.”
Clearly it had meant a lot to her as her voice is strained with emotion.

Her expression is deeply sad as she looks at her hands. Flexing the stiff fingers of her right hand.
“But he’s changed, and I can’t bring myself to accept that. Perhaps I am that selfish princess after all.”
no subject
And maybe he really has changed, being here. It's eerie to think that going home will erase all of that, if everyone does indeed forget.

Breathing in deeply, she fought with her emotions, but wasn’t entirely successful. A single tear escaping and slowly rolling down her blood stained cheek.
“Regardless, what I want is impossible.”
no subject
He, too, has experienced that impossible longing for someone who seems immovable. Although in his case, the person never was close to him. Bo's position is so much worse.

“I need to move on, I’ve tried to accept it. I’ve distanced myself from him, I’ve tried to be his friend. Nothing seems to really work.”
She didn’t know what to do. She didn’t know how to be happy, or at least content, in this place. He always hung over her as a painful reminder.
“It’s like torture.”
no subject
"Have you talked to him about how you feel?"
no subject
She really did, but it didn’t go the way she had hoped.
“He’s happy here, and is fine with how things are between us.”
She’s not though, her heart yearning for something more. Something that she couldn’t have.
“He’s encouraged me to embrace this world like he has. But I can’t do that.”

It’s said it’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. She’s not convinced.
“I’m sorry too. I wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone.”

If only he was. She could at least have that to hold onto. But she doesn’t. That thought making her sink in her seat.

“Before I came here, he left. Without even saying goodbye. He won’t be there.” Bo-Katan swallows hard, trying to keep her emotions in check. “When I came here I thought I might have a second chance. … But I was wrong.”
no subject
Radley looks down. "I'm really sorry," he says again.
no subject
“Perhaps it was never meant to be. That he could never return my feelings. Maybe I was wrong about him.”
Was his promise an empty one? Had she misjudged him? Should she just give up and try to forget him? Maybe that was her only option.

She sure wouldn’t as long as she was here. Who knew when or if she would ever see him again back home.
“For now, theres only the one here.”
