[While Luna has seen other people's video messages on the PokéGear, she's not sure if she's ready for her debut, especially without knowing how many people are here exactly.]

Hello, everyone. My name is Luna, and I've just arrived here. You have probably seen many messages like this one, but I have a few questions and I'd greatly appreciate some answers.

1) What is this place? I'm aware that this question isn't too precise, but any information will be of a great help.
2) Is there a doctor here?
3) Is breeding...what I think it is?

[While this town can't be called a big one no matter how you look at it, it's still a bit too much to Luna who after wandering around for an hour or two needs to rest, even if for a while. Thankfully, she notices a bench just after the exhaustion kicks in and sits on it while her Audino takes a seat by her side.]

Do you know what is going on here?

[Clearly, she's addressing her own Pokémon; it just tilts it's head in a response, not sure what Luna may be referring to.]

Oh, that's silly of me...you can't speak human language. I-I'm sorry.

[There's no reason for her to apologize and yet. Looking pensive, Luna lays her eyes on her hands as she takes turns curling them into fists and opening them. Audino seems to be watching over her all this time, but all of a sudden it scoots closer to Luna and presses it's ear against her, just like the Pokémon was performing physical examination.

Which, in fact, Audino does. With that done, it reaches to the backpack Luna has received before and pulls the boxed lunch out. In the meantime, she doesn't move much, wondering what Audino is up to. It becomes clear a little while later, when the Pokémon is holding up a sandwich, trying to feed it's trainer.]

B-But it's not—

[Audino is having none of it and puts the sandwich into her mouth. Moreover, it seems that it won't let her off the hook until she'll eat everything.]

[Luna takes a while to pet Audino's head before patting the free space on the bench to coax Ochako to sit down beside her.]

You're right, Moms around here are so kind...so is everyone, honestly.

[Not only they take in complete strangers, but also prepare food for them?]

Oh, I wonder... [Before continuing, she reaches for the Pokégear they all have received.] Maybe I should go back and ask her for her number? She must feel rather lonely, all by herself in that house...?

[Taking a seat, she pulls out the bento and pops off the lid - maybe it's not all her favorites but hey, she didn't have to make it herself and it's free, so she's pretty happy]

Hmmm, you think so? I mean, I'm sure she has friends in the neighborhood... [Though now that she mentions it, Ochako wonders if she should too.] Though I'd feel kind of weird if she kept saying she was my mom...

I don't know about your "Mom", but mine looked rather pale...I wonder if she ever comes out?

[Will calling those women "Moms" ever stop being so awkward? That's unlikely.]

But maybe if there are so many lonely "Moms" around...maybe they should meet each other so they wouldn't be alone?

[Luna nods at the last comment and smiles sheepishly.]

I know what you mean, but maybe if we could call them by their names or something like that...?

They probably have a neighborhood women's association! [That's what moms do, right?]

Ahaha... I tried asking her that and she just told me to call her "Mom" before I got herded out of the house...

I hope they do, that would make them less lonely, most likely. And they could talk about mom things, I suppose...

[What are those, she has no idea, however.]

That's weird...we should know each other's names. Oh, speaking of that...I'm Luna, and this is Audino. It's a pleasure to meet you.

By the way, do you happen to know what are we supposed to do now?

[Begin your adventure is a bit too general, after all.]

Oh! Right, I'm Ochako Uraraka! And this... [She digs around in her bag and, after a moment, pulls out a pokeball - pressing the button, she releases a Swablu that flutters up to sit on her head] ...is Chiru! Isn't she cute?

[She considers the question as she gets back to eating, offering some sandwich to her pokemon as well]

Hmmm... I mean, I think we're supposed to travel around, training with our pokemon and getting stronger... I'm not super clear on what the end goal is though.

Miss Ochako, is it? And miss Chiru, too...who's really adorable, on top of that.

[Since it looks like a bird, Luna holds up some bread.]

I wonder, do they eat the same things as we do?

[Just like she wanted to answer her trainer's question, Audino tugs at Luna's skirt and points at the berry tree nearby.]

Would you like to eat that berry instead?

[Audino answers with a nod, which leaves Luna with a small problem since the fruit grows rather high up.]

What about miss Chiru?

[Chiru peeps with delight at the offering, pecking at the bread eagerly - and getting crumbs on Ochako's head]

Hmm, I guess? I mean, I hope this doesn't upset their stomach!

[She looks at that small exchange - oh, did they prefer berries?]

Oh, maybe Chiru can get some for them! Chiru, can you go get those berries?

[The swablu peeps and fluffs her wings, not exactly eager to leave her bread but after a moment or two she jumps up and slaps over to the tree, pecking at the berries. They almost look too big to grab for the tiny bird... but eventually her little feet manage to pull a couple of oran berries down for them, flapping back down and landing on Ochako's lap - who just barely manages to move her bento out of the way]

Oh, good girl! Here, let's share. [Taking one of the berries, she offers it to Audino]

I hope it won't...

[However, it seems that Chiru likes bread just like any bird would, so maybe she'll be fine.

When Ochako asks her Pokémon to fly up to pick some berries from the tree, Luna can see that Chiru is a bit reluctant, but she has no intention of eating the bread that Swablu liked so much; it'll be surely waiting for Chiru when she'll be back.]

I wish we could—oh, she did it!

[If she wasn't holding the bread, Luna definitely would clap. Instead, she watches Chiru land on Ochako's knees, holding the berries in her beak.

Before taking an oran berry, Audino bows in front of the girl and smiles sheepishly.]

I wonder how long have it been since they were out of these balls...they must be hungry.

[Ochako giggles - it's pretty cute how their pokemon definitely have personalities in how they act and interact]

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that - I wonder who was taking care of the before? Mom lady?

[It's a mystery. At least they seem to be happily eating their berries now, and they don't look too ravenous, so they must have been fine.]

Seems like it. Or maybe it was a completely different person? I can't really picture moms going out to catch pokémon, but maybe that's just me?

[It's a real puzzle, and she's not sure if she can solve this one, honestly.]

I wonder how they were picked for us, too.

I mean, it seems like everyone here works with pokemon... maybe they caught them before they settled down?

[Yeah she has no idea how this all works]

Hmm... they do seem kind of fitting, huh?

That's possible...I wonder when that was, though.

[The mom that woke her up didn't look too much older than her, which makes things even weirder.]

And when the first person arrived in this world...and are they still around.

[Maybe they found a way out, she doesn't really know.]

Exactly...like they exactly knew who we are way before we arrived here. It's a bit weird...but on the other hand, it's great that they put so much effort into choosing our partners, isn't it?

You mean like... the first person like us? [That would be pretty interesting to hear about... she'd seen a few people talking on the Pokegear's network thingy... how far did this go back?]

It could be coincidence! We'd probably have to ask a lot of people if theirs all fit them... maybe it's a natural connection?

Yes, exactly! I'm just wondering how long people have been around here...it would be really interesting to hear some stories from them, wouldn't it?

[It's hard to believe that things remained the same all this time...]

Maybe that's true...well, even if it's just a coincidence, I can't complain.

[Truth to be told, she wouldn't be complaining even if she got a Zubat as a starter.]

Oh, anyway...may I ask you something else?

[She pulls the backpack closer and points to the sleeping bag rolled neatly inside.]

What is this?

Yeah, maybe we could figure out a bit more about this place too!

[It sounds exciting but oh, her new friend has a question?]

Sure, go ahead! [And... that sure is a question]

...it's a sleeping bag, isn't it?

[...is this a trick question? Or the set-up to a joke?]

[She seems as confused as she was a while ago.]

How do you use it? Is it like a portable bed or something?

Uh, yeah. I mean, if you're out camping or something, you just pull it out and... climb inside for bed!

[Has she... never encountered a sleeping bag before???]

Camping or something...?

[She repeats, a bit flustered about her question; it must have been something really basic, something everyone knows, probably...]

I-I see! I just...haven't gone out much, so...I had no idea.

Yeah like, if you're sleeping outdoors in a tent or somewhere else without a bed!

[She must be really sheltered, huh?]

It's kinda fun actually! Though... I hope that's not the only kind of sleeping we'll be doing out here...

[Smiling sheepishly, Luna turns her gaze to eating pokémon, both Swablu and Audino.]

Well...if this is what that whole adventure thing is about...I guess I'm pretty excited...maybe a bit too much.

[She's a bit embarrassed, even though she's now really showing how enthusiastic she's about the whole idea of seeing new places.]

It does seem pretty neat! Especially if all the pokemon are this cute and friendly.

[Spoilers: they aren't]

And with a whole new world to explore... I wonder what things are like outside this town, you know?
