[While Luna has seen other people's video messages on the PokéGear, she's not sure if she's ready for her debut, especially without knowing how many people are here exactly.]

Hello, everyone. My name is Luna, and I've just arrived here. You have probably seen many messages like this one, but I have a few questions and I'd greatly appreciate some answers.

1) What is this place? I'm aware that this question isn't too precise, but any information will be of a great help.
2) Is there a doctor here?
3) Is breeding...what I think it is?

[While this town can't be called a big one no matter how you look at it, it's still a bit too much to Luna who after wandering around for an hour or two needs to rest, even if for a while. Thankfully, she notices a bench just after the exhaustion kicks in and sits on it while her Audino takes a seat by her side.]

Do you know what is going on here?

[Clearly, she's addressing her own Pokémon; it just tilts it's head in a response, not sure what Luna may be referring to.]

Oh, that's silly of me...you can't speak human language. I-I'm sorry.

[There's no reason for her to apologize and yet. Looking pensive, Luna lays her eyes on her hands as she takes turns curling them into fists and opening them. Audino seems to be watching over her all this time, but all of a sudden it scoots closer to Luna and presses it's ear against her, just like the Pokémon was performing physical examination.

Which, in fact, Audino does. With that done, it reaches to the backpack Luna has received before and pulls the boxed lunch out. In the meantime, she doesn't move much, wondering what Audino is up to. It becomes clear a little while later, when the Pokémon is holding up a sandwich, trying to feed it's trainer.]

B-But it's not—

[Audino is having none of it and puts the sandwich into her mouth. Moreover, it seems that it won't let her off the hook until she'll eat everything.]

Before I get to the rest, do you need a doctor immediately?

Oh, I'm so sorry for worrying you. I'm feeling fine, it's just...I thought that a doctor whom I know may be around, that's all. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean it to come off like I was in some kind of danger.

Oh. Well, that's all right then. Roger that.

Afraid I don't know any doctors, but if you've got specific questions about breeding...? Can't help much on the first question, I've been here long enough to understand that I'm never gonna understand this place.

There are no doctors? But what if someone becomes sick? What are they supposed to do?

As for breeding, is there something else that I should know besides that I need, umm, a male and a female?

Is this place really so bizarre? I've just left "my" home and it looks pretty...normal? I think.

There are places called Pokémon Centers in nearly every town. The nurses that work there treat both people and Pokémon free of charge and are just about the nicest women you could ever meet.

Breeding's a little more complicated than that, yeah. Some Pokémon species are compatible with one another while others aren't, and determining what special moves the offspring might inherit can get hard to keep track of. Some of it you can learn in the guide, but some you got to learn as you go, or ask others.

Well, it's pretty weird to me, but I'm from the twenty-sixth century and don't see a lot of magical critters running around, usually.

[Since Luna did really well and ate half of the sandwich already, Audino allows her to take a short break and sits by her side again like nothing happened. Obviously, she's visibly proud that she took a good care of her trainer.]

W-Was it? I thought that I'm supposed to take care of her, but I guess she's a way better caretaker than me...

[More forceful, that's for sure.]

M-Maybe you'd like to sit down and eat lunch with us?

Well, I'm sure you can look out for each other! [That's what a partnership is, right?]

Oh, I wouldn't want to im- oh right, Ms. Mom gave me a lunch too! [Because, well... she doesn't know what else to call that lady. But yes, she'll come over and take a seat as well as she digs around in her bag for it] They're pretty friendly around here, huh?

[Luna takes a while to pet Audino's head before patting the free space on the bench to coax Ochako to sit down beside her.]

You're right, Moms around here are so kind...so is everyone, honestly.

[Not only they take in complete strangers, but also prepare food for them?]

Oh, I wonder... [Before continuing, she reaches for the Pokégear they all have received.] Maybe I should go back and ask her for her number? She must feel rather lonely, all by herself in that house...?

Hello Luna!

My name's Mai! I hope you've been treated well since you've arrived. I know things can be a little strange.

From what I know (and I've only been here a few months) we're in the Pokemon world. With all these little creatures that help us travel around. Apparently, we go around catching these little monsters and battle gym leaders for badges...although I haven't done that myself yet.

I'm not sure about a doctor....are you hurt? If you're hurt I'm sure we can find somebody who can help you!

And...well, about the breeder thing. I'm not really good with any information about breeders but my friend, Micchy is a breeder. If you have any questions, I'm sure he'll help.

So, that basically means that we can have more than just one? That's great to hear...I've seen a few Pokémon that I think I'd like to have. I just hope my Audino (my starter) wouldn't mind that...

I can definitely understand that everything comes off as strange! I've only been here a few months and sometimes things still surprise me. My newest little pokemon egg hatched into an ...egg.

[She laughs to herself, thinking that her explanation was really strange so to try and get her point across, she attaches a picture of her togepi.]

And I'm sure your audino would love to have new friends! I've only gotten 6 myself. I'm a little worried to get more because I'm afraid they'll get lonely when they're warped away into the PC. But we'll see what happens! If you want to meet up and have fun, let me know!

Oh? It's truly bizarre...that would mean that Pokémon come in all sizes and shapes, right?

[This is rather puzzling, though...how can an egg hatch into another egg? Then, the picture clears things up a little.]

I see now! It's really adorable, too.

Does that mean you're somewhere nearby? I've heard that there are some obstacles on some routes?

[What a sight to walk by, a Pokemon trying to fit a whole sandwich into somebody's mouth, but it doesn't look like she's enjoying it... Wondering why, Mafuyu pops up in front of the pair, eyeing the sandwich that honestly looks quite tasty.]

Is it good? Bad? I want to try some...

[Before Luna has the chance to speak (she's still chewing!), Audino raises her ears up and turns to Mafuyu. It's a matter of a few seconds during which the Pokémon grabs another sandwich and force-feeds the girl.]

Ah...! [It seems that Luna's done with her portion.] Audino, please...!

[dashdash]

Wa-- Mmph!? [Mafuyu's surprised, but pleasantly surprised! Even with half the sandwich jammed in her mouth, making it hard to chew or swallow or breathe. She chomps it down with large bites, trying to make room in her mouth so she can speak, but coupled with her own lunch that she just finished... One hand is clamped over her mouth so she doesn't show anything gross while she chews the wad of bread and sliced meat, the other on her stomach because maybe she ate this one too fast.....]

[Even though it's probably too late, Luna shares her thoughts on the sandwich she just had while Audino watches Mafuyu's chewing.]

It's really good...I haven't eaten anything like this before, to be honest. [No lie detected.] Audino, you shouldn't have done that!

[Audino's ears droop as she's being scolded, but Luna can't be angry with her for too long and eventually pats her on the head a few times, before turning her attention to Mafuyu.]

Are you alright?

[She points to Mafuyu's hand that rests on her stomach.]

1) I'm guessing you woke up in New Bark Town. Part of the Johto region in... some other world. Couldn't tell you the name. I don't think anyone here knows it.

2) Yeah, there are doctors, but most of 'em specialize in Pokémon. It's a pain, but that's just the way things work around here. Think the worst part's that the closest Center's not until the next town. Think you can hang in there that long?

3) Yeah, breeding's pretty self-explanatory. Big difference is that every species lays eggs. Even cats. Try wrapping your head around that...

Anyway, hope that helps a little, Luna. If you need more specific info, I'll see what I can do. In the mean time, I just hope things aren't to messy down by New Bark.

1) So that's the name of this town. Are there any other regions or is Johto the only one? And it's fine, even though world without a name...it sounds kind of sad, doesn't it...

2) I made that sound like I was in trouble, didn't I? I'm truly sorry for making you worry...I'm safe and sound and I'm feeling good. A person I know is a doctor and I thought that maybe he's somewhere around, but I think I was wrong.

3) Cats...laying eggs? But...but it's...? How? Just how is that possible...? I don't understand...

I think I've heard something on TV about those natural disasters, but mom asked me to go out before I could figure out what was that exactly about.

1) There are others. Off the top of my head, there's Kalos, Hoenn, Sinnoh... Kanto's the only one we've got access to right now, and even then it seems like the train traffic's kinda blocked from all the damages.

Sucks, because I live in Kanto, and I kinda need to keep my business afloat.

2) Heh, no need to apologize, though. Just took me off guard. Your friend MIGHT show up eventually, though. With a place like this, you can never be too sure.

3) When in doubt, blame magic, I guess? This IS a place with endless music, unclimbable ledges, and living garbage, so anything's possible.

Anyway, the name's Riku, and as far as the disasters go, I'm still trying to scope things out. Been a while since I spent a lot of time in Johto, but it seems like there's a lot of damage, raging Pokémon... Just one mess after the other.

1) No matter how you look at it, there are so many regions to choose from, even if only two (or technically one at the moment) are accessible. Also, is the train the only way to get there? Or maybe there's someone who could take care of it in your stead for the time being? I'm sure you've put lots of effort into it, so it would be a shame if something happened...

2) I didn't really think that through. I hope he will, I'd hate if he was left alone for so long...but we'll see about that.

3) Magic? But there must be some kind of an explanation other than that, right? There should be, at the very least.

[Clearly she hasn't seen the ledges yet.]

It's nice to talk to you, Riku. I'm sure we can sort everything out, we just need to cooperate. I mean, I probably can't do much myself, but if there's something I could help with, don't ever hesitate to ask.

[There's no reason for her not to switch to audio, especially after hearing her conversation partner's tired voice. It's time to overcome shyness, step by step...]

I-I don't mind, but are you okay?

[There's a long, long pause after Yang mentions livestock; all she can hear is the music in the background for quite a while.]

I...see...is it really okay for someone who has no experience in taking care of any sort of pets to be a breeder, though?

I'm fine. [ That is not likely to be convincing in the slightest. ]

I... don't actually anything about breeding. But Pokémon are easy to take care of. [ At least she's honest there. ] If you get overwhelmed you can trade them off, or store them at a PokéCenter.

I-I'm sorry if I'm bothering you...but are you really alright?

[She understands that it may sound a bit too persistent, nosy even...but she can't just ignore the fact that something is going on with Yang.]

That's good to hear...I'm not sure if I could treat them if something happened, I've heard that there are some wild Pokémon out there?
