First Scoop [Video with Text]
[ Two mismatched eyes, one pink and one brown, make up the majority of the screen currently. Neo is fiddling with the device, getting a hang of it. Once she notices it recording, she pulls away, revealing a girl with half pink and brown hair with a few white stripes on the pink side, and an Espurr on her shoulder. It makes a happy noise once its owner figured out the device. As if aware of the praise, Neo pokes the pokemon playfully. Her smile is pleasant at first, but it fades as she notices something and looks around. She quirks an eyebrow and looks around, as if looking for something. In reality, she’s trying to listen for something. She’s currently outside, and the buildings around her seem pretty basic to most city buildings. But there’s something that she thinks is amiss…
Text scrolls across the bottom of the screen as she turns back to type. ]
What’s with the music?
[ Never mind the fact that she’s in a whole new world without her own gear and powers. This music is atrocious. That is the true crime here! ]

[Definitely a newcomer, if she's asking that question. Even if Penny doesn't remember any buildings like that in New Bark. Maybe she just travelled a while before trying the network? Weirder things have happened.]
And
um
no one really knows where the music comes from. It's just kind of
everywhere. All the time.
[Text]
One, robot girl got reassembled. Two, she has no idea who Neo is, or what she's done. Three, she seems like a complete sucker.
Neo's smile is a bright one, if only because this is the best thing that's fallen into her lap in a long time. ]
All the time, huh? Has anyone gone crazy yet?
[Text]
Unless maybe some of the locals have gone insane. There were these guys calling themselves "Team Skull" a couple months ago, being crazy would explain a lot.
[Stupid Guzma and his stupid selfies.]
You just got here, right? You're taking this a lot better than some people!
[Text]
Don't get me wrong. I'm pretty upset! But this music is the real torture. Adjusting to a new life is easy. Adjusting to bad taste in music is not.
I don't think anyone here has been able to find a source to the music. It's... odd, but after a while, you'll be able to tune it out.
[video]/[text]
She doesn't believe that no one found the source. ]
Absolutely no one? Has anyone checked the sky?
Most likely? There are residents here who were taken from other worlds like you and I were years ago. If they haven't found a source to the music, I doubt there is one.
Guess I'll have to play my own music, then.
Oh? Do you play an instrument?
Nope.
I see, so you carry around your music in one of those portable players, then? What sort of music do you enjoy?
[video]/[text]
video;
It's fucking stupid, but you learn to tune it out sooner or later.
video;/text;
I'll live.
What's with the helmet? Is the air poisoned or do you just have morning breath?
[ In the latter case: please keep it on. ]

Funny how that happens, huh? Place has plenty of weird mysteries. Why only goats can leap over ledges, how Pokéballs even work...
I tried figuring stuff out for a while, until it gave me a heaping headache.
no subject
So if you're not a goat, you can't jump over them?
no subject
It backfires.
no subject
What happens when they try?
no subject
You can keep trying, but you'll never get past it. You can only jump down.

You know, that I'm not so sure about. Would it bounce off the air? Go over?
I'm inclined to think it'd land, but if nobody was there, they'd have to get up there the hard way.

[ She's not surprised that no one bothers to do anything. People are way too complacent. Guess it's one thing to put on her To Do List: throw someone over a fence. ]
[text]
Oh, uh the music doesn't stop. and its kind of everywhere.
but you get used to it!!
[text]
[text]
that's just the way it is around here. it's like a video game.
I mean, apparently. I don't know what one of those are
[text]
I'd say it's very much like one.
[text]
Yeah
so, uh
welcome I guess! Uh, this must all be really confusing, but that's normal.
