Be honest, please.

[It's Cecil's voice speaking, but his face isn't anywhere near the camera. Instead, the video shows a pan filled with pudding. Pudding that looks like it contains enough food dye to poison a man, all mixed together into some sort of eye-searing slurry, but pudding still.]

Is this recognizable as rainbow pudding in any way, shape or form? The... separation between the colors is not quite as clear as I'd hoped it would be.

[Apologies to both pudding-haters and fans of tasteful color palettes.]

Well, you have to be chosen for Precure. And then depends on the Sentai heroes. Determination helps at least with Precure.

Chosen, you say... I imagine that choice is based on multiple criteria along with determination, but fulfilling them could be difficult depending on whether or not they are publicly known...

Some recruit, others just form together through friends or convenience, it really depends on the team.

...And some meet by accident, realize that their individual goals are aligned, and reach a new mutual goal together, I imagine?

Mmhmm, that's pretty much it. There's plenty of reasons why hero teams gather together.

That sounds- Well, it sounds like any other sort of friendship, though with higher heroics than average.

Heroism is friendship. Pretty much.

There are few better reasons to start friendships. Especially if said friendships become strong enough to continue even when heroics are unnecessary.

The best of friends stay friends after heroism, yeah. It's a good thing.

Are there family legacies of heroes, too? Or is that the sort of life parents do not wish upon their children?

Cure Blossom is the second Pretty Cure in my generation to be a legacy Hero, her grandmother was one. And then there was several Super Sentai who were entire families.

That's wonderful! Children should not be pressured to follow in their parents' footsteps, of course, but a family choosing to fight evil side by side... Few enemies can stand against such strength.

Yeah, if a family rises up as a Hero team, its usually out of dedication to their own family, not out of anything else. It's really quite nice to be honest.

It shows both a strong familial bond and a strong moral fiber transmitted between generations. It's the sort of relationship I've always aimed for.

It really is quite a popular story for all intents and purposes. I'm glad you think so.

Years of experience have shown the strength of a family that fights together. Siblings, parents and children...

That's definitely the case with some groups of family heroes, I can agree with that.
