Be honest, please.

[It's Cecil's voice speaking, but his face isn't anywhere near the camera. Instead, the video shows a pan filled with pudding. Pudding that looks like it contains enough food dye to poison a man, all mixed together into some sort of eye-searing slurry, but pudding still.]

Is this recognizable as rainbow pudding in any way, shape or form? The... separation between the colors is not quite as clear as I'd hoped it would be.

[Apologies to both pudding-haters and fans of tasteful color palettes.]

Is that so? I was under the impression, that, in this case, the taste would matter the most.

Of course! What matters the most is how much effort you put into it anyway! Sure, it won't look good but at least you can still eat it!

That and if it taste bad, you can just puke it out anyway!

Luckily for everyone involved, no puking should be required. The taste is not that bad. Merely... resembling that of an overly sweet yet bland fruit salad, rather than the delicate balance of flavors I'd aimed for.

What?! You should make it a bit more swetter! I don't know about you but I think it'll make a bigger impact for whoatever you're making it for!

Ah, but if I did that, she might think I'd tried to make it sweeter than she is. I'd not want to break her heart so.

[With that, that's when she quickly started pointing straight at the communicator and right at Cecil!]

I knew it, you so were making this for someone! Why didn't you tell me sooner, I could have helped you make some pudding!

[...My, he's almost reminded of that nice young lawyer from years ago...]

Sadly, this particular pudding is specific to my home and has no defined recipe. Trying to explain how it should be to one who has never tasted it could have been... confusing for everyone involved.

But can't you just make it a tiny bit sweeter? Even if there's no real recipe involved?

[Maybe not, even after all that practice with the various children in his life, but he has to try!]

Let me recheck the taste first, the sweetness might have already reached a critical level.

[He takes a small spoonful.]

...I fear additional sugar would drown that faint hint of strawberry...

Then we can add in some more strawberries later! And it might even improve the flavor too if you ask me!

[Because when it comes to sugar? There are no limits to her!]

I'd then also have to add more of each fruit, for balance... At that point, I might as well prepare a larger batch instead.

[To his team's delight, he's sure.]

Then go for it! The more, the better! And especially if it's for this certain somebody that you totally didn't mention to me at all yet!

Now, now, a proper gentleman does not kiss and tell. Though I suppose our relationship is something of a public matter, after over twenty years.

With as much sugar as this pudding contains? ...But if you meet a certain Rosa on the network later, you can ask her if the final result was edible.
