GHOST TRICK PART ONE: Festival Log!

Where: Either Ecruteak City or Lavender Town; please mark your toplevel comments accordingly!

Summary: Celebrate O-bon at a festival near you! For details, see the infopost.

Log:
The streets are lined with NPC-run stalls for food, games, and the assorted tchotchkes of every summer festival you’ve ever seen in your animes! There’s Goldeen Scoop, heaping cones of Swirlix Candy, Test Your STRENGTH (there are two different machines for people and Pokémon; HM04 not required); basically, if you can think of it, it’s there. There will also be a yukata rental stall if you want to go full hog on the cultural side of things. Ecruteak boasts a small stage where the Kimono Girls give a short performance once every two hours; the festivities in Lavender Town are a little quieter, but they also have Haunter-shaped ice cream treats. When you lick them, they Lick you!
On the last evening (August 15th) of the festival in either location, there will be a large bonfire and traditional bon-odori dance in which everyone is welcome to participate. In Lavender Town only, they also set paper lamps afloat in the water past the cliffs.
The closer you get to midnight on the last night of the festival, the more ghosts pop up.

Ochako Uraraka | Ecruteak
"Hahh... hahh... we made it!"
Guess who was too cheap to pay for transportation and hiked all the way in here? Ochako, accompanied by her swablu, Chiru, set out days before so she could make it now... and she's still late to the festivities, arriving in the evening. Despite being obviously worn out, she looks pretty pumped, already dressed for the occassion. She even throws up a fist in excitement.
"Yeah, let's win this thing!" Were festivals things you won?
[13th-15th - Games]
Apparently, they were - and Ochako intends to do just that.
"Girlie, maybe you'd like to try out the ring toss two stalls down-"
"I ain't leavin' till the top row's cleared out!" With an unusually intense expression, Ochako is at the shooting gallery - and making a killing apparently, a pile of prizes already stacked up besides her. The poor shopkeeper is trying to convince her not to put him out of business, but she's too busy claiming all the most expensive prizes...
Similar sights can be found at the ring toss, Goldeen Scoop - even the Test Your STRENGTH machine is being tackled with unusual ferocity.
[15th - Bon-odori]
After a weekend well-spent amassing and subsequently re-selling her prizes, Ochako is as happy as a clamperl - and eager to at least spend the last evening taking it easy. She's joined the crowds around the bonfire, happily dancing, and even has Chiru out dancing with her as well. Expect a lot of smiles your way, even if - especially if - you're not joining in as well.
"Hey, come on! You should dance too!"

"Hey, it's you!" That was the only greeting Ochako would get from her, as she was quick to follow and gave her response to the other girl's shout-out almost immediately.
"Yeah, let's!" To match Ochako's thrown up fist, she pulled her arm up, clenching her own fist as well. "The prizes from the games are just too good to give up on them, after all! Where are we going first?!"

It had been a while since they'd talked after all, but she was excited to cross paths - in person this time, even!
"Right, I'm gonna win 'em all!" she proclaimed, giving some more fist pumps and an unusually determined face.
"How about the ring toss? Or do you wanna grab food first?" Can't fight on an empty stomach after all.

Just as enthusiastic as Ochako, she pressed the side of her hand, looking at the booths that were the closest to them. Ring toss was there, but so was the stand with Haunter Ice Cream.
"We're growing girls, we need to eat, don't we?"

"Yeah, that's right! And what's a festival without the food? Let's go get 'em!" she said with a cheer as she started striding towards the food stalls.

"Oh gosh...look at those...just..." Kaori whispered just after gripping Ochako's shoulder. Well, she couldn't understand why Gengar Mochi was Gengar Mochi since it didn't resemble a Gengar at all, but at least the colors matched.

Holding back isn't my style, really...why should we hold back anyway? Festival food is always so good, after all!

[Kaori has the jump on her, but Ochako quickly runs after. She's not the fastest hero, but having trained as much as she has, it's enough to easily catch up with the other girl and pull ahead, sliding into line just in front of her]
