Ciao~!! I hope everyone is having a looooo~ooovely day! Your newest resident is here!! It's been a couple days and a loooong boat ride but Mari is here~!

I didn't wanna say hi until I got settled in with my new friend-- [ She pans the camera over her shoulder to a Staryu doing what appears to be a half-assed cartwheel behind her. ] Say hi, Spinel! Time for your close-up!

We're so happy to be here. I can't wait to tell my friends back home about all the cute animals I'm supposed to be looking after. [ Animals, yes. Also, she seems okay and not having a panic attack?? That's good. ]

We're gonna be heading out soon to do some exploring. If anyone has any tips or knows the cutest critters, let me know what to look out for~

This, uh... These are some of the ones I have. The big one is called an Arcanine, and the little one on his foot is a Cutiefly.

Marcel is the Arcanine - he's, uh... He's named after a friend I had when I was a kid. The Cutiefly ended up with the name Brutus, but she seems to like it.

Naming your Pokemon after your friends is really sweet, honestly. [ She offers him a warm smile and a knowing little nod. ] I might have to think of doing that to one I find to be very special.

[ jealous staryu noises in the background ensue. Mari looks over her shoulder. ]

You're already special, Spinel. Hush-- [ With a giggle, she turns back to the camera. ]

I have a couple named after people I knew, actually! I, uh... I just haven't seen a lot of them in a long time.

But I'm, um... I'm a pokemon breeder as far as this place is concerned. It's honestly a little easier than being a normal trainer to me.

Not that I've seen, I think. I-I mean, Marcel... sort of puffs his fur up to look bigger, but I'm not sure if that's something he does to try and impress girls or just people and other Pokemon in general. Whenever I find eggs, it's always when I'm not around.

Marcel's a good-looking boy! He should be showing off to all the lads and ladies.

If the eggs just appear... Then... [ She squints. ] That's goofy...

He's going to get himself into trouble if he keeps it up though. One of my bigger Pokemon kept trying to... flirt, I think, with a Tyranitar I have and she kept throwing him down and sitting on him for awhile until he backed off.

_{[He's still not sure how his Haxorus got the same one to calm down enough to properly woo her, but he's calling Hax.]}

I'm not even sure how the eggs are made. I've tried to stay to see if anything happens, but at some point I either end up having to leave or I fall asleep, and... That's probably when it all happens.

I mean, if it saves us from watching anything gross... Eggs are kinda yucky.
