[Newt's second video to the feed is a lot different then her first. She's smiling for one thing. She also has two new pokemon next to her, a Cubone and and Absol. They're both very young and sticking very close to Newt. She waves at the camera. A little nervous still, but smiling.]

I've got two new pokemon now. This is Hudson

[She points the camera to the Cubone leaning against her. Not looking at the camera]

And this is Vasquez.

[A quick point to the Absol who is somehow glaring at the screen.]

They're both a little shy but that's okay. We're family now. Thank you Walter. I promise I'll take good care of them! I told Feathers to say hello to you for me when he left, too.

Um, I do have a question though. How do people decide what to name their pokemon? I named my two new ones after people who are ....gone now. I don't have that many names like that left that I want to use....so it's going to be harder to pick ones that fit them.

And....I'm not really good at picking names and I'll have to do that in the future...what do you guys do?

[Newt waves and so does Hudson. Vasquez just keeps a wary eye on the screen. The Absol isn't the most social.]

Are there a lot of constellations? There are a lot of stars...

In a way. [ Of course the Sacraments had involved things like Chaos and Darkness, but there were also things like Wisdom. It was more complicated than he wanted to explain. ] I think 'reliable' means that.

And there are. Constellations are just looking at the lines between stars, and seeing things there. There are twelve that the most well known, as they make the zodiac, but there are many others.

[ Assumption wasn't put off by Vasquez. Sentinel was very similar. He simply took a set beside Walter for now. ]

Oh, those are probably ones you see from Earth. I don't know those ones....or the ones that you could see from the moon I was on. ...maybe they taught that later.

The ones they have here are very similar to the ones on Earth. [ ,small>He paused before continuing, quietly ] If, you'd ever like to see them. I could show you.

[Teach her about stars, Walter.]

[ He gave her a small, distant smile ] We will need to see when that is possible then. I'm currently in Kanto. You're still in Johto, aren't you?

[She nods.]

I'm probably going to start travelling to Violet City tomorrow. That's the next city from here. I saved up my money and I need to practise battling people while I travel so I'm going to go there next.

Also they have a gym there so I want to see what one of those actually looks like.

They are not like the gyms I knew of, but they are useful for gauging your Pokemon's strength. If you defeat them they will give you a badge, and there are sixteen to acquire. After that, there is another challenge to undertake. I'm currently attempting to reach that challenge.

[She nods firmly.]

I'm going to get all of them.

....what sort of challenge is it?

It is another battling challenge, but more difficult. You must defeat five of the most important and strongest trainers in this world one after the other, with no stops or leaving the area. If you can do that, you will have proven yourself to be one of most powerful trainers to have walked this world.

Oh wow.

And you're going to do that?

....I bet you can beat them.

I intend to. I have currently obtained eleven of the badges, so there are still several I need to obtain.

You think I can? [ It was strange to hear Newt have... confidence in him. The priests had known he would serve God and do his duty as the Conjurer because it was inevitable. Here, fate seemed to be written in a much looser way, and Newt didn't seem to have any gifts of foresight or fortune-telling. ]

[Newt nods firmly. No future telling here. Just the earnest wholehearted support of a small child that believes in you.]

Yeah. You're smart. You told me lots of good advice plus you have a lot of badges already.

And you think it's important. That means you'll try really hard.

[Plus death isn't involved so she's more optimistic.]
