[Newt's second video to the feed is a lot different then her first. She's smiling for one thing. She also has two new pokemon next to her, a Cubone and and Absol. They're both very young and sticking very close to Newt. She waves at the camera. A little nervous still, but smiling.]

I've got two new pokemon now. This is Hudson

[She points the camera to the Cubone leaning against her. Not looking at the camera]

And this is Vasquez.

[A quick point to the Absol who is somehow glaring at the screen.]

They're both a little shy but that's okay. We're family now. Thank you Walter. I promise I'll take good care of them! I told Feathers to say hello to you for me when he left, too.

Um, I do have a question though. How do people decide what to name their pokemon? I named my two new ones after people who are ....gone now. I don't have that many names like that left that I want to use....so it's going to be harder to pick ones that fit them.

And....I'm not really good at picking names and I'll have to do that in the future...what do you guys do?

Well I bet somebody could teach you. Maybe not in the ocean, though, it's really big and there's waves and currents and it's probably better to know how to swim first.

No, I'm from a small colony that was the only place on the moon people lived.

We didn't really have nature or animals or anything like that. We mostly played inside and learned about that stuff from school.

Is swimming fun?

Wow, you lived on the moon? The moon's really important to the Water Tribe.

That's too bad. But I kind of know what you mean, I grew up in a compound and I couldn't really leave it. I could go outside, but just around the compound.

....I wasn't on the one near Earth though. There were three of them near a planet and the company set up a colony on ours. Acheron or um... LV-426 was the first name before they set up there. I was the first person born there.

[She had to memorize a lot of that for a school project.]

It was too dangerous for us to go outside. We mostly played in the vents of the colony, even though the adults didn't like us doing that. I'm small so I could fit in lots of places there. Why were you in a compound? Was it dangerous where you were too?

[The closest she'd come to swimming was when she fell in the sewers, where the water was up to her chest and an alien got her.]

Maybe. It might be good to learn.

Yeah! The moon controls the ocean, and it gives use powers, sort of. In my world, some people are born with the ability to control an element - earth, fire, air, and water. My people, if we can bend - that's what it's called - can bend water, And the moon makes it stronger. The moon's...kind of like our god. Only it's also a princess that lived like...sixty years ago. It's a long story.

Well...it was dangerous for me. But I left when I was sixteen.

It'd be a really good idea to learn.

Can you control water? ....I wish I could control fire.

[That sounds really cool and then aliens would be less scary.....wait.]

Um, how is the moon a princess? Moons are made out of ...rocks and stuff like that. And I don't think they're alive either.

[She doesn't really know much about religion.]

If it's a good idea, then I'll find someway to learn.

Okay, so where I come from, there's the moon like you're talking about. Giant rock far far far away in the sky that circles the planet. But the moon has a spirit. And that spirit's alive. And that spirit is the spirit of a Water Tribe princess who gave up her human life to save our people.

[Wow there are a lot of questions in this one message...]

And I'm not like everybody else. I was born special, I can control all the elements, which makes me something called The Avatar. And there were bad people who wanted to get rid of The Avatar. Not that anybody ever told me about them until way after I should have known....

I talked to someone who could do magic before she came here too. But she can't do it here either.

[That doesn't seem fair. Also she wants to see magic from people since that's apparently a thing. Normally she'd have said that a moon can't be a person, after all she's smart, she knows there isn't really magic, or at least she thought she did and she also didn't think there were monsters.... So she listens to the story with a more open mind.]

That was really brave of her. I hope she likes being a spirit.

[You are full of stories Korra. Wide eyed child. Controlling one thing, like water or fire, sounded cool. This was even more.]

You could control all of them? ....but why didn't they tell you about the bad people? Were they trying not to scare you?

Yeah, this world is different than the ones we all come from, so I don't think our powers and stuff work here. Nobody's does.

Me too. All the ones I've ever talked to seem to like it.

Oh boy...that's kind of a long story.

That's no fun. We didn't have any powers or magic where I came from. Just science. I didn't think magic was even real until I came here.

[The giant dog creature that can make fire can change your mind a bit.]

Is a spirit like a ghost?

.....can I hear it sometime? Your world sounds really neat.

A spirit...well, a spirit can be a ghost. But spirits were around before people were, and have their own world that exists next to mine. They're more like minor gods. There's spirits for lakes, for mountains, for trees, for ideas - like war and love and justice - for pretty much everything. And sometimes people become spirits when they die.

Yeah, you can.

[This sounds like a storybook.]

That's a lot of spirits.

There's hundreds and hundreds of them.

Me too! I've heard all sorts of cool stuff about other worlds.

Do you know many?

Yeah, people come from all sorts of places. Some of them have magic and some of them have science like mine.

[Some even have monsters and have people from there that understand things get dark sometimes.]

I know a lot more than most people, because I'm The Avatar. I can bend all the elements because there's a powerful old spirit that lives inside me. We share a soul, sort of.

My world's got both.

It lives....in you? .....isn't that ...bad? What if it breaks out of you?

[Things living in other things are kinda different to her, considering well /waves arms at canon.]

Really? Magic and science... Do you have spaceships?

Then we manifest together as a spirit, while my body sleeps. She's a good spirit, she's the spirit of light, one of the oldest spirits there is. She existed before...well...pretty much anything. And there's a dark spirit, too, and every thousand years or so, they fight for control of the world. So a very long time ago, when humans were new and only spirits could control the elements, a human decided that humans should have that power, too. And he did a lot of things to get it, some of them good and some of them not so good, and he was banished to live with the spirits. He got caught up in the battle between light and dark, and the spirit of light fused with his soul, to be strong enough to beat the dark.

Ever since then, the soul of the Avatar and the spirit of light have been the same thing, reborn every generation to protect the world. I'm the latest one, I was born with Raava as a part of me. That's her name, the spirit of light.

Uh...no, but we have giant robots. Kind of.

Oh....I'm glad she's good. Do you get to talk to her, or is she just there?

....really? We have androids. They look just like people though. My friend Bishop is one. He saved my life.
