Er.

Not quite sure how to phrase this, though. I have one breeder-specific question and one general question.

Do we have a Breeders Union? For trading around and borrowing Pokemon and such. If not, we should, I know there's a lot more of us around than before.

And in general, anybody out there interested in looking at some Pokemon up for adoption? I've been trying to hang onto these for my friends for [...] a bit, but I can't quite handle it anymore. I don't have the space and I don't do much traveling or battling, so I'm not serving them well enough as a trainer.

Don't mind their levels, I really couldn't care less if you're some master trainer or not, as long as you're ready and willing to care for a displaced Pokemon.

If a Breeders' Union does exist, could you please suggest that they organize another breeder's convention? The previous one was a wonderful opportunity to be and sell eggs, but it was so long ago...

Convention? That's certainly something I could bring up. We're all usually so far apart, though, I wonder how we'd even put our heads together about something like that, video conference perhaps? Where was the convention held originally?

Near the Goldenrod Breeding Center, five years ago. Both breeders and interested trainers were invited to participate and sell their wares, and they came in great numbers. I knew people who bought more than ten eggs during those days.

[So many eggs. Too many eggs.]

Gosh, that was a while back, before I even arrived in Johto I think. It's surprising nobody's gone and started another breeding center again, but with the unlikeliness of people sticking around long enough to be consistent it seems like it'd be a daunting task.

[As in a really frightening task and dear lord, too many Pokemon. Too many eggs.]

It's not so surprising, I think. There was a much greater demand for eggs, back then. We were more, traveling was less common and convenient, certain species were less widespread... For all that it was daunting, it was needed enough to go through multiple iterations under various owners.

Well, it seems we've gotten a nice resurgence of breeders anyway, and so many of them are keen, it's amazing. I think we could probably pull off another convention in the future, once we've gotten ourselves all organized again.

Egg sales and active breeders do seem more common than they were before. For a time, most of the biggest sellers were actually trainers, but now our teams might finally decide that the variety offered by professionals is sufficient.

Trainers? They don't seem to even get as large of clutches as us, how odd.

Have you spoken with Mr. Scamander? He's quite interested in the idea of organizing the breeders and even having a convention down the line.

Our smaller clutches can easily be countered by our often larger teams. Goodness knows mine tend to all breed at the same time.

Ah, I've not done so recently, but beyond recalling how the first convention went there's little I could do to help him. My duties keep me far too busy.
