GHOST TRICK PART ONE: Festival Log!

Log:

The streets are lined with NPC-run stalls for food, games, and the assorted tchotchkes of every summer festival you’ve ever seen in your animes! There’s Goldeen Scoop, heaping cones of Swirlix Candy, Test Your STRENGTH (there are two different machines for people and Pokémon; HM04 not required); basically, if you can think of it, it’s there. There will also be a yukata rental stall if you want to go full hog on the cultural side of things. Ecruteak boasts a small stage where the Kimono Girls give a short performance once every two hours; the festivities in Lavender Town are a little quieter, but they also have Haunter-shaped ice cream treats. When you lick them, they Lick you!

On the last evening (August 15th) of the festival in either location, there will be a large bonfire and traditional bon-odori dance in which everyone is welcome to participate. In Lavender Town only, they also set paper lamps afloat in the water past the cliffs.

The closer you get to midnight on the last night of the festival, the more ghosts pop up.

Oh, totally buy more TMs. Those unexpected movesets can really be the difference between life and death out there in the area, you know?

Hell, I won against Brock's rock/water types with a fire type and a flying type, of all things. Because they had Solar Beam. You never know what'll happen!

Yeah. I got a psychic move for Regal - it's always funny when he pulls it out on someone who doesn't expect it. I mean aside from covering type weaknesses, it's always fun to surprise people with what some Pokemon can do.

Yeah, you should see the looks on peoples' faces when Alessa busts out "Superpower" at the last minute against another dark-type.

Oh man. That's pretty great. I need to see if Rachel's got any other moves that she can learn - I was thinking of doing another big breeding... thing. I figured some of the new people might want Munna, and as long as I'm letting those ones breed...

... I should not have named Pokemon after people I know, it's super awkward to talk about breeding them.

I'm lucky it's only even happened to me once. Kinda glad my Pokemon seem to have as little interest as I do in having kids.
