GHOST TRICK PART ONE: Festival Log!

Log:

The streets are lined with NPC-run stalls for food, games, and the assorted tchotchkes of every summer festival you’ve ever seen in your animes! There’s Goldeen Scoop, heaping cones of Swirlix Candy, Test Your STRENGTH (there are two different machines for people and Pokémon; HM04 not required); basically, if you can think of it, it’s there. There will also be a yukata rental stall if you want to go full hog on the cultural side of things. Ecruteak boasts a small stage where the Kimono Girls give a short performance once every two hours; the festivities in Lavender Town are a little quieter, but they also have Haunter-shaped ice cream treats. When you lick them, they Lick you!

On the last evening (August 15th) of the festival in either location, there will be a large bonfire and traditional bon-odori dance in which everyone is welcome to participate. In Lavender Town only, they also set paper lamps afloat in the water past the cliffs.

The closer you get to midnight on the last night of the festival, the more ghosts pop up.

[He suspected an answer like that would come…. Reaching over, he taps Wrath on the nose with a grin.]

But is it winnin’ if ya didn’t have ta do anythin’? ‘Cuz then it just sounds like someone gave somethin’ ta ya, not like you won at doin’ somethin’.

_{[Giggling, he leans back. And then reaches out to tap JOKER'S nose because Wrath is a copycat.]}

[Laughing louder, he lunges forward to try and wrap Wrath up with his good arm and spin him around.]

<sub>[Wrath had gone back to fishing in the water with one arm, and is unprepared to escape being snatched up. He lets out a delighted shriek and attempts to splash Joker as he's swung around. But mostly just winds up splashing anyone unlucky enough to be nearby.]

[FORTUNATELY, there's a whole lot of splashing going on from the Goldeen anyway. So it's not as disruptive as it... could be.]</sub>

[Victory for the older brother! Laughing at Wrath’s failed attempts to splash him, Joker nudges his chin into the Pidgey’s nest that is his hair.]

When yer done playin’, want me ta get ya one of the treats around here? Whatever ya want.

[He will probably regret saying that, but oh well.]

[Chuckling, he gets to his feet and offers Wrath his hand.]
