I jsut don't want you guys feeling like you've gotta put a lot of time into looking after me

This world has many medicines as well, doesn't it? Should we pick something up for you along those line?

Uh, man. if you can find cough medicine, painkillers, or a fever reducer that would be good - there may be stuff that can do both of those last two. Like anything with acetaminophen or ibuprofen

Well, Dedue will be more reserved in his emotions but it is nothing against you. He is used to being distant from people. He will still care about what happens to you.

Oh yeah i kind of got that impression from him, it's alright. I don't exactly have room to judge anyeone for not being super friendly with strangers haha

Shoot i forgot to ask, while you guys are out could you also pick up some facemasks and disposable gloves? If you don't know what kind to get just ask the people at the store what's good for stopping flu from spreading

I'm sure. I've had the flu before - and thsi place and my world both have preemptive treatements you can get so you're less likely to get it and it won't be as bad if you do, and I got that done back in my world

The rest of you guys might need to be more careful just in case but that's what the masks and gloves are for

What are these preemptive treatments?

I will, for sure.

It's basically a dead or really weakened version of the disease that's placed in your body, so your body learns how to fight that disease without getting sick
I'm probably not explaining it well because, I mean, I'm not a doctor, but that's the general idea?

How do you kill a disease?

Wait, I apologize. You just said you are not a doctor. Is this something an average person can accomplish?

Oh no I know that one actually it's pretty common knowledge where i'm from

Uh brace yourself though because it mind be kind of alarming if you didn't already know it? I promise it's not as scary as it sounds though.

So a lot of diseases including the flu are actually caused by really tiny living things that get into the body and attack it, and a lot of the symptoms we see are the product of the body trying to kill them. So if you teach it first it can do that better, and either kill the germs - that's a collloquial term for those tiny organisms - right away so you don't get sick at all, or at least fight them faster so you're not sick as long and you're in less danger.

I know this is a lot so take your time and ask meif you have any other questions and i can try to asnwer them if I know how
