Actually, that'd probably be good for all thirty of them. They could all use it, honestly. ]
Innovative is...one way of putting it, I guess? Aren't vampires supposed to stay in hiding or something? Maybe that's interfering with your marketability. And though the last thing I need to tell you is to put yourself out there...
Besides, you've been recognized, trust me.
no subject
... You have a point; something is only unique when it isn't shown off as much, but I'd feel terrible for denying the world my presence. Though I'm sure there's many of you who would prefer me to do that anyway~.
[... Ginti needs to recognize his genius in regards to that garish suit he made. Ferid glances away for a moment, taking his Skitty into his arms and hugging her casually.]
In any case, Chitoge, it... is nice to see you again, I suppose, though I thought for certain I'd seen the last of any of you once you all made your way to that elevator-- It became very quiet after the lot of you left. And then it became very loud once more, because our darling Ginti doesn't know the meaning of volume control.
no subject
I wouldn't say denying the world your presence is the next step, I mean, you're fine in smaller doses.
[ Not unlike cyanide. ]
I'm not complaining about keeping my memories, though. I mean, I didn't think I was going to completely forget about it, but...I dunno. I always wondered if that was just me being optimistic. Since this, uh, wasn't exactly what I was expecting.
no subject
No, I'm rather certain that this is... a glitch in the system, so to speak, because memories are the one thing that are guaranteed to be wiped out once you're all just a pile of dolls collapsed on the floor. Though it isn't like we can prove one way or the other once our patrons have left, I suppose. I simply haven't had a double case yet.
[And thank goodness for that! Imagine if he got one of you again. That'd be terrible. This is exactly like that, except the remembering part goes both ways and he doesn't have to keep secrets as a result.]
no subject
You're sure it's a glitch, then? And not, like, some kind of second test or something? If it's usually such a hard-set rule, I find it hard to imagine that it wouldn't be intentional, at least a little bit...
[ She shudders a little bit at the mental image of the pile of dolls, though. If there's one thing she'd like to forget, it's probably cutting her finger like that. ]
How many cases have you had since us, come to think of it? I haven't exactly been here for very long...
no subject
[... Though from his jovial tone, who can tell if he's serious? What harm can Ferid do in a world like this.]
And only a handful, admittedly. Aligula and I tend to switch off as needed, and there's more vacation days than you'd think with how humanity enjoys itself with any number of dangerous and extreme sports. Your kind truly amazes me.
[In that "you're stupid, but you're my stupid" kind of way you talk about pets.]
no subject
[ It truly goes both ways. ]
If it didn't have a chance of hurting them, they probably wouldn't do it. The risk makes it more fun. You can relate to that, I'm sure.
no subject
I certainly can, especially since it doesn't actually kill me! I could break every bone in my body and it'd hurt to a point, but ultimately I'd be able to walk away from it. Things like that lose their appeal when there's no threat of death~.
[Apparently, he's been wanting to die for a long time now, but only under a specific circumstance. It's weird.]
Though I will say -- and you certainly never heard it from me -- but I suppose if we're going to compare risk-reward ratio on the scale of how hurt you have the chance of being in the end, then taking part in a game like we did certainly fits under "extreme sports to try before you die". Wouldn't you agree?
no subject
People wouldn't take chances if there wasn't any sort of consequence. Trust me, there aren't many people who know that better than I do.
[ No thanks to a certain someone. ]
I think that there's such a thing as going too far, though. And it feels a little weird to call what we went through a sport, even if it was technically a game? Not exactly a very fun one, though. Even looking at it from an outside perspective, there's a lot of off-time.
no subject
It was fun. [A pause.] For a time, anyway; I rather liked the different flavors of murder that went on, though you're right in that there was a lot of off-time... How does anything like that become popular with such a clockwork schedule?
no subject
The non-murder parts were fine. But you're right, though, I wonder why no one ever tried to switch it up. It always did happen on Fridays...we'll have to make sure those are our new "treat yourself" days.
Don't talk about murder as if it's fucking ice cream, though, for God's sake...
no subject
The non-murdering parts were the boring parts, Chitoge. And the way someone kills really shows the kind of person they are though, wouldn't you agree~? Ice cream's just as telling~.
no subject
Not for me, they weren't! And you're really gonna say all that time getting lovey-dovey with Isaac was boring?
If that's true, though, what the hell kind of person does that make you? I don't think you can say it's a preference thing.
...But, for the record and for argument's sake, I'm a strawberry and "tie their feet to cinderblocks" kind of girl.
no subject
I wouldn't call that lovey-dovey-- He made it very easy to embarrass him, and it was very fun to do so. It was a very fun pastime.
[... And he ended up really liking the guy shut up. Look, you threw off his murder-groove by bringing up his not-boyfriend-ex-by-reincarnation-person.]
no subject
no subject
I don't know what you're talking about~. It's simple fact~.
no subject
Ferid, you're like a schoolgirl with a crush!
no subject
I am over two thousand years old, Chitoge, I am in no way alike to you or Angel.
[you are so much more alike to them than you think]
In any case, in true fashion of my kind, any feelings have absolutely faded into obscurity~. There's simply nothing there anymore~.
no subject
[ Ouch! ]
That's not true, though, and you know it. I didn't go through literal hell together with you just so you could lie to my fucking face.
no subject
that he wouldn't have to be bombarded by like
a hundred different feelings when he thinks of certain people]
I prefer a wide variety of ice creams, just like killing.
[LET'S JUST. SKIP BACKWARDS.]
no subject
[ You can't just do that!!! ]
no subject
[HE JUST DID.]

It's unusual for a young lady not to like ice cream, in my opinion.
[Just. Putting that out there.]
It's also unusual to have-- lingering feelings, [boy this is weird to talk about when it's not Isaac, Aligula, and... Katniss,] particularly for vampires; reawakening is unfortunately plausible, as you all demonstrated, but for them to be lasting is not something I like.
[... Mostly because it just proves that Isaac's always going to be more than just entertaining and that's like, more solid proof than him getting a haircut and Ferid still thinking he looks cute.]
I'd simply rather not talk about it.
no subject
[ Murder is a different story, though. That, she doesn't like. ]
Maybe it's just because I'm the opposite of that and shutting off my feelings is something that I can't stand the idea of?
[ Which makes her think of her Sis, but, that's neither here nor there-- ]
But just because this is apparently, like, an anomaly for you guys doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Especially if it's something like love. ...Far be it for me to want to help, but, can I ask what you're afraid of?
