second video;
[The video feed opens with the image of two similar Pokemon eggs —Litton ones, for those familiar with them— nestled together on a bed. A blanket has been haphazardly draped around them, creating the sort of shoddy nest a teenaged boy would make. The round top of an Electrode is just barely visible on the bottom edge of the screen.
Jean doesn’t poke his own head onto the vid, but his voice can be heard. Really, at this point, more people on the network recognize Blitz than him.]
Someone gave us these eggs. [He doesn't specify if it was a man or woman who gifted them the eggs because... he's not entirely sure. Is Blanche a woman or a man? He just doesn't know.] Do we need to do anything special with them?
[He's not going to sit on them to keep them warm, that's for sure. Jean's ass is narrow and bony and would break their shells.]
And what's inside them? Are we going to get birds?
[As Jean speaks, a small round Rowlet lands on the bed, hopping closer to the two eggs. She seems to be giving them a very sullen stink-eye, before she flutters up, readying her feathery vengeance on the intruders. Armin hurries into the background, scooping her out of the air in a rush, knocking into Blitz the douchy Electrode in the process. A zap, an oww, and a soft, exasperated sigh from Jean later and the feed goes black.]
[ooc: responses will be coming from both Jean and Armin.]

Action;
I don't see how you put up with this every day.
[He's not whining, no sir. This is very manful complaining.]

[Of course, what pisses Blitz off changes from day to day. He's currently hovering near the eggs, giving Annie the stink-eye and very clearly guarding the eggs from feathery attacks.]
He likes round things. I think they remind him of himself.

' Guide to Pokemon Breedingto the rescue!]I've never found an egg, myself, but according to this book, all Pokemon come from eggs. They could be anything. And it seems all you need to do to hatch them is carry them around on your person for a while. It doesn't specify whether they need to be kept a certain temperature.
[video]
Christmasmiracle!]We can't just leave them alone and wait?
[Jean looks at the eggs doubtfully, where Blitz is currently rolling in a circle around them in a protective gesture that's very unlike him.]
Won't they break if I carry them around?

I suppose if the temperature was very important, the book would've mentioned it...
Ah, does it say anything about what kind of care they need when they hatch? Should we do anything special?
[Will they be all blind and helpless like newborn sparrows?]

[Well, maybe don't send against Gym leaders, but that's it.]
Eggs aren't too complicated to care for; I've never heard of anyone managing to break theirs.
[video]
[The relief in Jean's voice is palpable; look, he's a teenaged boy, he doesn't know how to take care of fragile eggs! They're just lucky the most aggressive Pokemon in their little party has decided he'd rather guard the eggs than attack them, or they'd all be broken already.]
Do you need to do anything special with baby Pokemon? Do they need... milk? Or anything?

[All Bertolt knows is 1) He had nothing to do with those eggs and, 2) he is probably going to end up outing himself as a breeder at this point. He is so glad he is out poking around town so he can avoid any potential bombardments of questions if it comes down to that.]
I, uh, also don't think they're birds.

[He is a good dog, but perhaps not the best egg-sitter.
Also, please come out of the breeder closet already. Armin knows, man.]

Could be anything! I had one with a baby dragon!
[Said baby dragon is now a juvenile Charmeleon, and can be spotted peeking over Krieg's shoulder.]
[video]
[By now, Jean's worry over the eggs has faded a little, and that puts him in a good mood. Honestly, if Krieg can take care of an egg until it hatches, then Jean should probably be okay.]
He looks like he's going to be really badass when he gets bigger.

Eggs can like, totally have anything and everything in them! From birds to lizards to totally gross frogs... Eyebeasts, things with tentacles, squishy cattleos, super adorable pandirds...!! [ a giggle. she loves pandirds. they're panda birds? they're so cute. ] Like, the stuff's super endless! You totally didn't think to ask what was in those things before you let some dumb-dumb layabout shove them off on you to hatch and take care of?
voice
Uh... no. We didn't.
[Dammit.]
It was that Blanche person, who seemed really in control, like they knew what they were talking about!
