A blanket has been haphazardly draped around them, creating the sort of shoddy nest a teenaged boy would make. The round top of an Electrode is just barely visible on the bottom edge of the screen.

Jean doesn’t poke his own head onto the vid, but his voice can be heard. Really, at this point, more people on the network recognize Blitz than him.]

Someone gave us these eggs. [He doesn't specify if it was a man or woman who gifted them the eggs because... he's not entirely sure. Is Blanche a woman or a man? He just doesn't know.] Do we need to do anything special with them?

[He's not going to sit on them to keep them warm, that's for sure. Jean's ass is narrow and bony and would break their shells.]

And what's inside them? Are we going to get birds?

[As Jean speaks, a small round Rowlet lands on the bed, hopping closer to the two eggs. She seems to be giving them a very sullen stink-eye, before she flutters up, readying her feathery vengeance on the intruders. Armin hurries into the background, scooping her out of the air in a rush, knocking into Blitz the douchy Electrode in the process. A zap, an oww, and a soft, exasperated sigh from Jean later and the feed goes black.]

[With a slight limp, Armin sinks down on the other bed next to Jean, firmly keeping Annie against his chest with one arm while reaching down to rub his calf with his other hand, right over the place where Blitz zapped him. That hurt, you know!]

I don't see how you put up with this every day.

Once you learn how to not piss him off, he's a lot better about not shocking you.

[Of course, what pisses Blitz off changes from day to day. He's currently hovering near the eggs, giving Annie the stink-eye and very clearly guarding the eggs from feathery attacks.]

He likes round things. I think they remind him of himself.

Mostly, you keep them with you until they hatch. It may be because of the warmth provided, though that isn't clear, but for whatever reason they usually need to be kept and carried by a trainer to hatch.

I've never found an egg, myself, but according to this book, all Pokemon come from eggs. They could be anything. And it seems all you need to do to hatch them is carry them around on your person for a while. It doesn't specify whether they need to be kept a certain temperature.

Nothing too special! Just keep them comfy and with you, and they'll hatch into Pokemon! What kind is anybody's guess.

Keep the eggs warm, take them on regular walks, and pray they won't turn out to be psychotic cats or rocks large enough to crush your bed. Once they hatch, train them as you would any other Pokémon.

[Well, maybe don't send against Gym leaders, but that's it.]

Eggs aren't too complicated to care for; I've never heard of anyone managing to break theirs.

Might I suggest salt and peppering them~? It isn't anything particularly special, but I've heard that the more you spice something the more confusing the taste is, so it's best to keep it simple~. [Like he could resist saying something like that. It was begging for that kind of response.]
