[Well, look who it is - Thida's shown up on the network today, and surprisingly she's smiling, despite the cold weather and snow still on the ground. You'd think she'd be depressed like the last time she made a post, but it seems that a change of pace has been good for her - as well as whatever might be in the Pokeball she's holding.]

Know 'bout th'Dark Cave? Soooo dark! Nobody put lights up - but I got a friend!

[The Pokeball is tossed up, and out comes a Noibat. It immediately flies down to the 'gear to get a closer look.] Noi? Noi noiba, bat! Bat noi!

[Laughing that bubbly laugh of hers, Thida edges into view again.] So cool! Wanna find more friends 'n go deeper...but, 's super dark! Gotta get like...ten flashlights? People? People who got flashlights? Who wants t'go?

[Giant mechanical death monsters out to make her a smear on the pavement - and water - are much scarier than a little old cave.]

[WELL RAKKA YOU'RE ABOUT TO FIND OUT

With a big grin, Thida unclips one of her Pokeballs and lets out Maika the Malamar, the Pokemon easily almost a foot taller than its trainer. Maika looks a little confused for a moment until Thida beams up at her.]

See, see? Got th'best squid!

[OH BOY IT'S

It's kind of... huge, and imposing, especially with that height difference. How tall are you, Thida?

She leans in, looking suspiciously like her face is pressed against the camera.]

Whoa! That things is huge!

[She's like four foot even. Her species is a bunch of shorties but she's pretty dang short regardless.]

Yeah! Big as a Kracken - maybe bigger! 'N she gives hugs!

[To demonstrate, Thida turns around to give the Malamar a hug, and the gesture is returned with two gentle tentacles and a fond expression on that fearsome face. Looks like despite appearances, the big scary squid genuinely cares for her trainer.]

[Gasp someone that's shorter then Rakka, perish the thought.]

...Aww. [That's actually really sweet! ...And now Rakka feels kind of bad for thinking that earlier.]

[Thida nods, and smiles brightly on seeing Kuu.] Aah! So big 'n fluffy! Cuddle with 'im?
