[to be honest, Sora's having a hard time distinguishing when exactly he stopped being here, and when he started being back home again — as back home as a kid who world hops can be, anyway.]

[but considering his stature, not too much time has passed since he left, right? but Heather looks way older than he remembers. is she gonna be in a pokénursing home the next time he finds his way here again?]

Y'know? I've actually been spending a lot of time looking. [for friends, for worlds, his usual MO.] There are a ton of different worlds out there! And this one just suddenly popped out of no where a little while ago — I think Donald and Goofy were starting to think I was cra—

[he stops suddenly, as if startled, then whirls around and stands for a moment, squinting at the crowd.]

[he turns back, and frantically pats at his person — aha! two pokéballs. there's not much room in the throngs of people and creatures, but Sora's giving them a toss anyway, to confirm his hunch — ]

[yup. a ducklett and a furfrou. both wearing hats. the ducklett looks pissed.]

[and then they start arguing like they're both speaking the same language, Donald somehow managing to quack more than he usually does.]

[and the furfrou calmly pads over to Heather, plopping down next to her feet. hi, I'm Goofy! don't worry about them, they do this all the time — they'll give up and go to this gym thingy in a few minutes.]

[the duck-vs-kid fight has escalated to the duck trying to bite the kid, and winding up literally hanging off the kid's shirt — Sora's not discouraged, though.]

See! Look at how good at battling you are! You'd probably win all by yourself!

[this is a turning point in their scuffle, and Sora knows it — to placate Donald Duck in any situation, no matter how angry he is, just tell him he's going to win something.]

[Sora would agree, this is easily one of the best weekends he's had in a long while — he gets to hang out with big sis, maybe get some more tips on how to be cool if he's lucky, and he doesn't even have to fight any heartless! it's the best kind of vacation.]
