[At least people aren't surprised that Mikasa can talk when she keeps repeating that one name all the time, not like that's the only thing she ever says but... Well, same can't be said about Annie. Most people probably think that she's mute or something.

She probably should have expected to run into familiar people here. Except she's more or less expecting to run into people from that day and not into everyone, who were who knows where during that fight. Does that explain why the tinier blondie is talking to her like that and not -- however the hell people talk to her these days?? Maybe. Wouldn't her reaction be something completely different if she knows? So maybe she doesn't know. Why wouldn't they tell her, who knows, she's not exactly going to hear anything that people talk or do after that day.

[Just coincidentally someone, who looks like her and wears Military Police uniform from the same world as her, totally someone else than Annie. So she can go somewhere else because that's totally how this works. ...It's not how this works at all but a lone wolf can always try to make people go away, right?]

[Well Annie, that attitude would be enough to put most people off, but considering Historia's best friend is Ymir of all people, a little chilliness isn't going to be enough to chase her away. Especially because, friend or not, Annie's a familiar face, and that's something Historia could absolutely use more of right now.

It gives her hope, seeing more people from their world showing up. It means she'll get to see her friends soon, and it means more people will be able to escape the hell they've all been dropped into.]

[ Contrary to her, Annie keeps telling herself that she could use less familiar faces showing up right now. It's weird. But well, it really doesn't look like Krista knows about whatever happens on her side of things back home... Or if she does, she is really good at hiding it. Not that she'd be the first one of their class to hide things from others. ]

Shouldn't proving people wrong be intentional... [ That one's not but well if she's taking it as some kind of a humour... Not Annie's problem. ] What do you want?

It's nice, seeing another familiar face from home. That's all.

[You'll have to do more than that to deter Historia, Annie! And. well... everyone knows what Annie's like on the outside, but who knows what she's like underneath? Maybe seeing some familiar faces in a different setting will help her, somehow.]
