What kinds do you know?

Quite a lot of spells; teleportation, transmogrification, this and that, I've got a lot of magical talent but not too much skill with other things.

Some ponies like myself have magic telekinesis, to lift objects around and about.

Whoa, nice. I don't really know anything like that - where I'm from, all the research goes into spells that are useful for combat...

There's some combat spells, not many but they're not really required for self defense. There's a LOT of them, but they've fallen out of requirement to stay safe.

There's friendship problems but actual dangerous monsters are kind of low. There's timberwolf packs and manticores and hydras but they stay a long ways away from our homes. And then the Guard or Twilight handles those.

That's good. I'm glad. I mean, must be a pain when they do show up, but if it's pretty uncommon, that's good.
