This is probably going to sound really weird but I have a question about girls. I've never thought about it before back home since there were more important things going on, but|

I don't know the sizes or anything so I was even thinking about a Pokemon but I think the ones that I'd find cute might scare or not be cute to some girls. I could probably take some ideas from TV or books or something too, though sometimes those can be a little

I honestly never saw one until the contest that happened. They don't seem to be very common, but she started out with one, I think.

Staryu, you mean? They are an ocean pokemon, so they are pretty common here, but somewhat rare in rivers and inland. They are pretty amazing though. I'd like to catch one myself someday. If that was her starter, she is pretty fortunate. They come in tons of different patterns. Because this is an island, a lot of them are patterned with shells of all sorts, but there are also those with flowers or pokemon on them. And some that don't really have any patterns but just shifts of colour.

I don't mind the ocean, I just mind crossing it. And having to deal with all of the sand. It's...

You sound like my friend. He gets sick each time he is on a boat. I always feel sorry for him. I think being out on the water is one of the best things there is. I suppose that depends a bit on which pokemon you consider cute. But, you said this girl's starter was a Staryu, right? I'm certain they have scarves patterned with Staryus. That might be a good gift for her.

To be honest, I don't really know. I've never heard him complain as much about the little boats, but at the same time, it's not really something we've spent a lot of time testing out. I don't think anyone wants to spend all that time feeling horrible just to figure out what their limits are. And it is not really that important anyway. I'm not sure if they sell them anywhere else. You could check in Goldenrod or Celadon city. If they are sold anywhere else, it'd be there. But if they don't have them, I wouldn't mind forwarding them to you. You'd have to tell me your name, of course. But it wouldn't be a lot of trouble.
