has anyone ever
had an issue where a pokemon's moves stopped working on them as well?
or I guess
is anyone else having bad dreams again? Like
back in October?

It's nothing major. I was just worried for a minute.

[If this isn't Shiro, then Jean will rephrase. But he's pretty sure this is Shiro.]

[Whoops. He... meant to keep this to text. But the voice startled him a little too much.]
No. No, it's fine.
voice | private
Uh huh.
[So fine you're making anonymous texts on the network asking for help? Sounds like bullshit, but okay.]
If Haunter can't eat all the bad dreams, maybe it needs help? I didn't dream at all when I was asleep so Gastly has been doing a good job.

It's... fine, really. Might've been a bad night.
I was just worried October was happening again.
[... not totally a deflection.]

You're not going around touching creepy trees, are you?
[Since that's what brought the October stuff on.]

They were more real. Harder to get rid of.

Well I wasn't here for that. But I've been through something like that back home....similar types of nightmares I mean. If you don't mind tips from a stranger, I can tell you some of the stuff that helped me when I was going through the worst of it.

... I'll take what I can get.

I find writing helps if I wake up and can't get to sleep. Or even the morning after a bad nights sleep. Either a journal to get the thoughts out of my head, or the opposite of that. I'm a writer and so sometimes I'll work on a story. You don't have to be a good writer, or a writer at all but I suggest it because it gives you something you lack in your dreams. Control. When you write, you get to decide everything. That's helped me a lot when my dreams were of things I felt like I had no control over.
Writing before bed might help as well but then again, I might be a bit biased towards writing. Drawing might be an alternative if you're better at that. Anything that you can put yourself in full control of what you're making and makes you focus on it, rather the the dreams would be something I'd suggest.
Also it helps if you have things nearby that bring you back down to reality. I'd sometimes check in on my daughter, or look at a picture of my wife. Sometimes just making a list of moments that made me happy or laugh so that I could look at that if I needed to. Anything to get out of the mindset where I felt like darkness was closing in on me.

Most are!
But some are actually helpful to people. Like hypnosis for people who can't sleep.
And things like "sweet scent" for people who need to stay calm in stress.

That's kinda cool
Also kinda weird
Is this something that's common knowledge?

Especially the people who get electrocuted or Licked on a daily basis.

And what happened in October?

but I have had pokemon that didn't want to do their moves when I asked them too.
is everything alright? you're not hurt, are you?
no subject
I'm not hurt. Sorry. Didn't mean to scare anyone.
no subject
it happens sometimes, mostly with the pokemon you get when someone you know disappears. sometimes they don't want to do anything you want them to.
no subject
The only one left to me, I got when he was just a baby.

then... maybe it's something else?
um, have you seen any drowzee around?
