[Yeah, he maybe only half listened to the explanations, but seriously, things were bad a minute ago.]

Well then you're in luck! I've spent the past summer with my sister Mabel in Gravity Falls, a town surrounded by deep, dark woods. [Maybe exaggerating a little.] We can help you out if you need it! The next town is a few days hike from here.

[Suddenly, something about this feels familiar. Like... talking to a slightly less manic version of a certain Blue Paladin. And the sense of foreboding is hard to shake.]

Actually, yes! Loads of them. And non-animal things. You name it! Gnomes, zombies, unicorns, among other things.

[They're in a video game world. There's no harm in telling a stranger about what plagues Gravity Falls.]

You know, little bearded guys with red hats... that for some reason puke rainbows if you kick them hard enough.

[That last part is still kind of weird, even for that place.]

[He stares for a long minute. Working that out in his head. That's... bizarre even for a guy who rides around in a quasi-magic space lion.]

All right, I'll... agree you've seen some weirder things than I have.

Gnomes are the tamest things I've come across, but I don't think this place has any of those. Maybe a weird dragon or two, creepy cat creatures, and as always, an impossible deity that somehow created the world. It that's pretty normal for a world based on a video game.

... Cat creatures? What kind of cat creatures?

[It wouldn't be the first time some random planet had stories about the Lions. It... would also mean there's hope of getting picked up again.]

Cats with weird powers just like the other Pokémon. Maybe they can do things like attack with psychic powers or something.

[No a lion unless you catch a Litleo. Not that Dipper knows what that is right now.]

Like actual cats, or... metal ones?

[That sounds like a really cool idea though.]

I come from a world where a one eyed triangle nightmare demon tried to take over our dimension so he could have a party, petrified most of the people in town, trapped my sister in a bubble because she was afraid of growing up, and almost died a few times before we beat him.
