GHOST TRICK PART ONE: Festival Log!

Log:

The streets are lined with NPC-run stalls for food, games, and the assorted tchotchkes of every summer festival you’ve ever seen in your animes! There’s Goldeen Scoop, heaping cones of Swirlix Candy, Test Your STRENGTH (there are two different machines for people and Pokémon; HM04 not required); basically, if you can think of it, it’s there. There will also be a yukata rental stall if you want to go full hog on the cultural side of things. Ecruteak boasts a small stage where the Kimono Girls give a short performance once every two hours; the festivities in Lavender Town are a little quieter, but they also have Haunter-shaped ice cream treats. When you lick them, they Lick you!

On the last evening (August 15th) of the festival in either location, there will be a large bonfire and traditional bon-odori dance in which everyone is welcome to participate. In Lavender Town only, they also set paper lamps afloat in the water past the cliffs.

The closer you get to midnight on the last night of the festival, the more ghosts pop up.

[Snake stepped back to allow Jack room for his hammer session. The noise he let off caused a slow smile to spread over the old soldier's face. He knew how to get into the spirit of things did Jack. He threw a pretty good hammer too.]

Not bad. You been working out a lot with your Pokémon?

[Was he teasing slightly? Yeah, just a bit. Snake didn't know Jack was built so well, as it was hard to tell the man had muscles under his layers of clothes. With yukatas at least you could see more of a person's build.]

Guess it's my go.

[Snake lifted the hammer, got into position, closed his eye and breathed in before growling and smashing the hammer head onto the button, seeing the weight shot up slamming into the bell. A loud "ding" could be heard throughout the area.]

Huh. Not bad.

My Pokemon? Hell no, I don't have any that can give me a real workout yet! Nah, I got a home gym. Body's a temple, gotta take care of it, offer a nice place to come worship.

[And biking everywhere wasn't hurting things either. His calves have always been toned, but they're looking particularly nice lately. Considering he just turned fifty, he's got a reason to be proud.]

[He gives the other man an appreciative nod, but it's just what he was expecting. This dude? This dude's a soldier. Not one of those guys who signs up to avoid paying for college or to 'figure themselves out'. Jack's body might be a temple, but guys like that? Their bodies were weapons.]

Guess we're entitled to crappy carnival prizes now! Hey, you ever punched a dude so hard his head explodes? Cause I bet you could.

[Snake had never actually punched someone so hard his head had actually exploded, since he favoured long range weapons and non-lethal take downs. Although, his prosthetic could do some vicious damage to someone's flesh if he let it.]

Never tried. I prefer to use CQC to take down my enemies. Close Quarters Combat. [Which he learnt off the Boss's memories. Yeah. He isn't about to tell Jack that he's a clone of someone else, or rather, a copy.]
