GHOST TRICK PART ONE: Festival Log!

Log:

The streets are lined with NPC-run stalls for food, games, and the assorted tchotchkes of every summer festival you’ve ever seen in your animes! There’s Goldeen Scoop, heaping cones of Swirlix Candy, Test Your STRENGTH (there are two different machines for people and Pokémon; HM04 not required); basically, if you can think of it, it’s there. There will also be a yukata rental stall if you want to go full hog on the cultural side of things. Ecruteak boasts a small stage where the Kimono Girls give a short performance once every two hours; the festivities in Lavender Town are a little quieter, but they also have Haunter-shaped ice cream treats. When you lick them, they Lick you!

On the last evening (August 15th) of the festival in either location, there will be a large bonfire and traditional bon-odori dance in which everyone is welcome to participate. In Lavender Town only, they also set paper lamps afloat in the water past the cliffs.

The closer you get to midnight on the last night of the festival, the more ghosts pop up.

There's probably an egg or two available at the Breeding center. If not, just ask for willing breeders on the network; it's a well-appreciated species, so there's got to be someone who'd be willing to sell or trade you one.

Everything hatches from eggs. Even the plants, the rocks and the ghost clay statues.

Golett and Golurk. Excellent Pokémon to have in a team, but after seeing one pop out of a tiny little egg, you kinda reconsider everything you know about this world.

[If the cats and lumps of metal haven't been enough for that before, of course.]

[Yup. Eggs are to be taken at face value then. Anything and everything will hatch from them.]

What's the weirdest Pokémon you've seen hatch? Other than those.

...That'd be Sweet. There's a very big difference between being told that an ice cream cone will hatch from an egg, and watching it happen.

An ice cream cone. Excellent if you need a pure Ice-type, but definitely inedible if you know what's good for you.

I... don't think so. I hope not. I mean, people have made stupid jokes about it before, but beyond that...

Someone's gotta have tried it. And are there other colors for other flavors, or is it just vanilla?

There's only the one color. Even the shiny ones have the same 'ice cream' part, and I'm definitely not hunting one down licking it to taste if there's a difference.
