[And the entire gang is wearing the same mildly distressed expression.]

[Shiro, wielding the camera one-handed thanks to the sling on the other arm, slowly pans over to where his ... uh. Archen. Exists.]

Does... does anyone know if this guy is okay?

[Because the little bird-dinosaur sure doesn't really look like it. Its flailing is kicking up sand and bits of shells everywhere. Shiro's Litleo starts edging away from the other pokemon, eyes wide and ears slicked back.]

He's been acting like this since he hatched. We're all a little... concerned.

[WHY IS IT LIKE THIS, POKEMON WORLD.]

No amount of pep talks really gets this out of them. I've seen Keith try.

[ They haven't been camping together but they have also not not been camping together, so it's hard to not be aware of certain things. ]

Other shy Pokémon sometimes get along with it fine. That's my experience at least.

Maybe it's because they're a prehistoric species? I'd say just give yours something to do. Mine likes to hoard shiny objects, but your mileage may vary.
