HALLOWEEN 2016: Team Skull Log
Who: Everyone who wants to join a team!
Where: Goldenrod City!
When: October 31st!
Summary: Team Skull's planned a full-fledged assault on Goldenrod; join up with a team and take them down!
Rating: Will vary from thread to thread. Warn for common triggers if something comes up.
Log:
It's been three days since Guzma's made his first announcement over the radio, but try as the police might, no one's been able to get to him since; after making his call to arms, asking all available Skulls to come to Goldenrod to have some fun, he seems to have completely dropped off without a trace. But Candela isn't concerned much about that. She's been at this for long enough to know the song and dance; this is a pivotal spot, after all, and Guzma will be back here before long, probably with more than enough cronies to go around. When that happens, they'll head him off at the pass. Easy as that. He's gotta get orders out to the people outside, after all, and the only place he can do that is here.
He won't take it over a second time. Team Valor will make sure of that.
Meanwhile, outside the tower, Blanche would like to think she has a bit more control of the situation. Candela had been so gung-ho on kicking Guzma's ass in the tower that Blanche almost didn't have the heart to tell her that there was probably an ambush waiting in there for her. ...Rather, she tried, but Candela has a way of being far too stubborn for her own good...in any case, if she needs backup, she's out here to provide it, but if there are going to be riots and messes in the streets, its better to be out here where the damage is going to be at its highest, just to stop it before it starts. Already, Team Skull is starting to come out in small hordes, and it won't be long before things start to get hectic out here. Team Mystic, though, is dedicated towards stopping this before it gets a chance to start. ...But perhaps they'd be taken a bit more seriously if Candela and Spark hadn't forced her to dress up for Halloween--
Speaking of Spark, of course, Team Instinct's leader seems to have his priorities in order; if there are going to be riots and debris in the streets, some of the wild Pokemon in the area might just get hurt, and that will never do! So Spark has taken it on himself to lead a search-and-rescue charge with Team Instinct--any stray Pokemon in the Goldenrod area should be either captured or brought straight to a Pokemon Center ASAP! The goal is not to leave even one behind! ...Of course, Team Skull is a problem, too, but won't somebody think of the Pokemon--
You're free to NPC any Team Skull grunts and Pokemon interactions yourselves, but Team Valor will have the chance to battle Guzma, and Team Mystic will have the chance to battle Plumeria! Please be patient with responses in these threads; if the boss's Pokemon start to become too weak, they'll end up making a tactical retreat!
One last thing: you're all encouraged to have your character in costume for an event like this, and your team leaders will be dressed in costume, too! If three or more characters in costume participate in a thread together, a miracle might occur, and the Legendary Bird corresponding with your team has a chance to appear at your discretion! This applies in battles with Guzma and Plumeria, as well!
Have fun and Happy Halloween!

OTA
[Since arriving in this new world, Angel had largely relied on the help of others. It was time, in her opinion, to give back.]
[Hiking her skirt up, she raced to the nearest fast travel, and from there, down the streets of Goldenrod. Maybe she got a little lost along the way, but that just meant she was able to sweep up the Pokemon that had been frightened from the beaten path.
You can probably find her in back alley's of Goldenrod, making running from all the sweat, or finding her small, weak form gulping down heavy breaths in the Pokemon Center.]

[There's a small, fair child in a Plusle costume who's come over to Angel in the Pokemon Center. From how pink his cheeks are and the smudges of dirt on his costume, it's evident he's been running around the city himself. A Floette has snuggled herself in between the hood of his costume and his hair, and she peeks out at Angel too, curious.]
no subject
[Angel, on the other hand, quickly straightened up. She brushed some of the dirt from her own dress. She held out a hand and offered a beaming, if tired, smile.]
I'll be fine, I promise. [Really, this wasn't the worst thing she had suffered through.] Are you doing alright?
no subject
Yeah, 'm okay. Do you want some water? I can get you some.
[The Joys have loads of water bottles on hand, which Asriel is super grateful for.]
no subject
If... it isn't too much trouble, that is.
no subject
[He runs over to the counter, and if Angel looks over, she'll see him sweetly asking the tired Joy there for something to drink. She's happy to hand him two, and he's quick to come back to Angel to give her one.]
Here, that's for you. It's, um, real important to be hydrated, Nurse Joy said.
no subject
She's right, I think. [Angel unscrewed the bottle and brought it up to his lips. He sucked down a quarter of the bottle, and then lowered.]
Thank you, so much. [She paused a moment.] I'm sorry, I forgot to ask your name...
no subject
My name's Asriel. What's yours?
no subject
You can call me Angel. [Her smile returned, almost at full energy. See, she just needed a little break.] It's wonderful to meet you.

no subject
Fancy meeting you --
[But that lasts about two seconds, and in a flash, he's got murder in his face again. Even Floppington suddenly takes on a truly terrifying look as his eyes begin to glow. In seconds, a powerful beam of psychic energy is blasting past Angel and into the faces of the grunt and their Koffing who've just rounded the corner behind her.]
no subject
[Her relief upon recognizing the approaching man as Anders was short lived. The look on his face was terrifying, enough to force her to take an involuntary step backward the second she saw him. His short-lived greeting did little to comfort her either.]
[As Floppington released his blast, Angel cowered down. Mari and Adorababy rushed to her side, while the recently evolved Furret pushed himself up on his tail in order to get as close to Anders' face as possible. Skagbait stood beside him, ready to assist in the planned beating.]
no subject
[He's fairly startled by the giant weasel in his face, though he tries to move around the protective Pokemon to make sure their trainer wasn't injured by the goon behind her. Pinsy takes it upon herself to climb onto Anders' shoulder and snarl at the Furret and the Riolu, defending her companions to them and lashing her tail furiously. She doesn't wait for their reactions before leaping over the both of them to face down the grunt and the Koffing just now righting themselves and looking none too pleased about their Psybeamed faces.]
Yo! You're gonna pay for that, Twinkle-toes!!
no subject
[She noted the skitty sailing over her head and quickly turned to Mari.]
It's okay. Go help!
[Mari gave her a doubtful glance, but did as she was told. Adorababy huddled closer in the meanwhile, forcing Angel to cradle him as she gently tried to coax both Skagbait and the Furret down with the other.]
I'm sorry, Anders. They're just... [She looked downright embarrassed, what wtih cheeks beginning to burn red hot.] I'm sorry.
no subject
[Briefly, Anders looks back up past Angel with a very irritated expression as the grunt summons a nearby friend and they both proceed to shout more unoriginal insults. He calls a few orders to Pinsy and Floppington before turning his attention back to the woman.]
Are you hurt?
no subject
You should go finish taking care of that. [Her voice was soft as she buried her face in the tufts of fur between 'Baby's ears.]
no subject
When he's had enough of Team Skull's foolishness and decided that his team have taken enough of a beating, Anders himself charges at the grunts. Something about a hairy man barreling at them in a ballgown is just disturbing enough to send them scurrying off for easier prey.
Thankfully, that leaves him able to gather up Pinsy and Floppington, inspect their injuries, and return to Angel when he finds them minimal.]
Should we get to the Center? [The implication in his voice is more out of concern for her than the Pokemon.]
no subject
[By the time the small team returned, Angel was more than calmed down. She shook her head at his question, and moved to march in the opposite direction.]
There are more people who need our help!
no subject
As he falls into step with her, he digs in his bag for a couple of potions and treats the Pokemon cradled in his arms, talking softly at them and praising them for defending the wild ones of the city.]
Your team is still able to fight, yes?
no subject
We'll be okay, I promise...
no subject
If you need any potions, I have a few spare. [For the moment, at least. With the grunts everywhere, he doesn't know how long his small team can hold their own. He supposes he'll just have to keep sharing the burden of ass-kicking, himself.
Flop and Pinsy elect to hop down and continue walking on their own once they're able, even the former looking far more fierce than usual. The two are none too pleased with these Skull goons.]
