[It's evident from Jane's appearance as the video starts that she's been a busy young lady. Her hair is mussed, her cheeks are pink, and she's resting outside on a bench nearby what looks to be a small cafe in Goldenrod - there's counters and stools up against the windows for people to sit, but other than that it's pastries and hot drinks and tight quarters. Most noticeable of all, though, is the bright and brilliant smile Jane is wearing.]
Does anyone ever get up very early in Goldenrod for any particular reason? I...I just got a new job, and I had to be awake for my first shift, and just...walking through the city in the morning, it's so serene and beautiful, and with the cold air coming in everything is so crisp and fresh! And then at this place, [She moves the camera to take a look at the cafe] I'm so busy I can't even pause to think, but it's a good kind of busy! Maybe it's a little strange to be happy about such a simple job, but I never really had to work like this at home, and it's...nice. It's especially nice.
[It's probably a bit hard to explain how nice it is to get to do something normal for a change, to wake up and know that you don't have to fight for your life or struggle to survive in the wilderness with immense amounts of teenage drama on top. Perhaps, Jane thinks, this is what it feels like to become an adult.]
Ah, but, um...I should ask a question so this doesn't seem too weird to say out of the blue, huh? Let's see...oh! I've got it - what's a job you've enjoyed doing most while you've been here? And to compare, what's a job you've enjoyed the least? I'd love to hear about any and all shenanigans!
