Fortunately for both of them, the Lion is... in park. Well. You know, as much in "park", as any of the Lions can be. And Shiro is between it and Chip, ready to intercept this delighted, and adorable child.

"I'm her Paladin, she came from space, and yes, it's aliens."

Honestly, Shiro looks as delighted as Chip does right now.

Chip makes a flying leap right up into Shiro's arms (they're used to having Big Dads), laughing and clinging on tight.

"It's a girl?? Are there boy ones, too? What kinda aliens do you fight, how big are they??"

The laughter is contagious. Shiro's grinning too, laughing himself as he catches Chip and swings them up onto his shoulders. They're used to Big Dads, and Shiro is used to small people clambering up onto him (Pidge).

"Most people call their ships a 'she', and the Lion's never had a problem with it." He's sure if the Presence in the robot had an issue with being called that, he would have known by now. It just felt better than "it".

"We fight aliens as big or bigger than our Lions are. They're pretty scary - like in movies."

"Woooow..." Their gaze is fixed up on the Lion, stars almost literally sparkling in their eyes. They can see the presence in there, just a little--something red and white and very, very old. "Is there wolf robots too? Or rats, or boars?"

Gosh, wonder why they're interested in those animals?

"There might be, somewhere!"

He's not just saying that, either. For all he knows, there could be a whole zoo of robots out there. Or several. There could even be alternate versions of Voltron made of different animals.

He steps over to the hatch, and takes them inside.
