[Min looks like he has no idea whether to be excited or terrified by the offer. On the one hand it's a super cool flying robot. On the other... he'd really like to not die.]

I-I don't know. It looks kinda dangerous.

[That's a joke, Min. Really. He knows you're not.]

[He knows it's a joke, but his laugh is nervous anyway. Are you really going to make him question your ability to pilot safely out loud?]

I'm not, but... it looked like you were going pretty fast up there.

Well, yeah. I was. It's meant to.

Is that a problem?

I just... you know. The only thing I've ever flown in was a plane.

We can take it slow. She's not the Red Lion - she's only fast when she has to be.

[Of course the red one is the fast one...

He still seems unconvinced, but... he will kick himself if he has a chance to fly in a giant lion space robot and he doesn't. He knows he will. So will Ryan if he finds out he passed that chance up.]

I guess that's fine then. We don't have to go super slow. [No, Shiro. He's a liar. The slower the better. He's just trying to save face a bit.] Just... not crazy fast, you know?

There's five. Blue, Yellow, Red, Green, and Black.

[Whether or not they're all here, he's not sure. Whatever is causing this Weird Weekend is affecting Black's scans.]

Not crazy fast. Promise. [He holds his hand out.] C'mon in.

[Min-Gi considers a little longer, but in the end there's no way he can pass this up, is there?]

[There's still some uncertainty in the way he takes his hand, but he does it. At the very least he's excited to see the inside of a real life spaceship! That part is very cool and not too scary.]

[And Shiro hauls Min into the Lion proper. From there, it's a short walk to the cockpit - grey metal and warm, purple light. It's different, Shiro thinks, than the kind from his arm. It's something safe, protective. Alive and not warped by... by things that he doesn't want to think about here.]

Ta-daa. The cockpit.

[Min stares owlishly around the inside of the lion. Even before they reach the cockpit he seems blown away it all. For the moment he's forgotten to be frightened entirely, and takes everything in with quiet awe. He looks briefly like he might reach out to touch the wall, but his hand has barely left his side before it freezes and he draws it back again. It feels strangely safe in here (maybe the light? he's always found purple soothing), but it's probably still better not to touch anything.]

It's so sci-fi.

[It isn't. Clearly. It's very real. But to him it really does look like something out of a very high budget movie.]

You're allowed to touch. [He totally saw that brief moment, and he's grinning. Boy, does he understand that feeling.] Really, anything. The Lion won't let her engines or weapons boot up that easily.

[Or at all, unless Shiro (or Keith) is in the pilot seat. Min would be perfectly safe to poke at all the shiny things. Black would likely be more tolerant, too, through the link with Shiro - knowing Min means no harm.]

I thought so too, honestly. When I first saw it.

[Min-Gi's still too caught up in the excitement of being on board a real life spaceship (?) to be embarrassed at having his urge to touch noticed. He does look slightly alarmed at the mention of weapons, but he reaches out to place his palm on the metal of the walls anyway.

He pointedly avoids any buttons or mechanisms, not convinced that if he does they won't go blasting off to Mars or whatever the equivalent here is.]

Ryan's going to be so jealous when he finds out about this...

[There's a slight undertone of smugness hidden underneath his eagerness. Rude, Min.]

[The wall is oddly warm to the touch. Not like a pokemon or a human being. But not like a generic spaceship wall, either. Light flickers around his fingers before it fades away.]

Ryan?

Friend of yours?

Best friend. He just got here.

[Which concerns him a bit now his mind is back on him. He'd just been able to meet up with him again, and now they're separated. Apparently this is just a thing that happens sometimes, and once the weekend's over things will go back to being as normal as they ever get here.

But Ryan's so new. He hopes he'll be okay.

He lifts his palm away from the wall, touching his fingers back to it to see if he gets the same reaction.]

Oh! Yeah. We spoke on the network. He told me about your band.

[The wall pulses once. Then fades away. You have been judged safe to be aboard.]

Probably too early to ask, but any plans to get that back up and running? You guys could probably find instruments here.

Yeah. Once we save up enough. I've got my mini-synth, but it's not like I could play actual shows with that and Ryan doesn't have a guitar at all.
