"I would prefer to not be 'stuck up here' if I can help it."

He really doesn't want to spend an entire weekend in an airship with nothing to do but read bad literature and get fat from eating chips.

"You say that a door could lead anywhere; not just to the location it was meant to go to. Perhaps there is a room that the passengers do not have access to. A room dedicated to storage somewhere on this vessel, perhaps. A room. With a door?"

Hey. Why not? It's better—and safer—than testing the doors that lead outside.

There's always passing the time with a nap. Or quietly contemplating the view from a window. Ideally with an alcoholic beverage, though tea or something could work in a pinch.

"So you wanna keep looking?"

Geddoe doesn't really care all that much at this point. But if there does turn out to be a way off this airship, well, he'd be interested in taking it.

"I believe it prudent to keep looking."

Pause.

"But perhaps after a respite?"

He's not physically tired, but a part of him is beginning to feel a bit worn out. If there's more strangeness to be experienced, he'd like to experience it after a rest.





...maybe with a beer to go along with it.

"Think I saw a room that looked like some kind of lounge."

Well actually, it's a cafe, but Geddoe didn't look too closely just yet. He'd definitely agree with having a beer, though, if there's any to be found.

Lounge or cafe, it'll be something Keldor's not familiar enough with yet to know the difference.

"Then I shall follow your lead if you know where it is."

And have a sit, have a chip and a bottle of booze.

And without another word on the matter Geddoe turns to retrace his steps as best he can remember, finally pausing in front of one of the doors. "Pretty sure it was this one..."

"You are certain?"

About as certain as any person can be on an airship during a weekend like this.

Wait.

It's a door.

That could mean...

"Can we be certain that what we mean to find is even on the other side of this door?"

Hey you're catching on!

"And if not, then perhaps this is the one that will lead us off of this vessel, since that is what we meant to find anyways."

His hand's on the handle.

Better hope it doesn't open up to something underwater...

"As sure as I can be with how all these doors look alike."

Oh, he has no doubt they're easy to tell apart if one's used to the place, but they haven't exactly had time for that. But as for the rest of it...
