Huh? Uh, well... It's kind of a famous tourist spot back home, so I... guess we are?
[Not entirely sure what it's doing here, but like. It's one of those weekends. It might as well happen.]

Gee--the architecture on this is real swell. What is this, French? Italian? My niece is tryin' to become an architect, applyin' to all these colleges and stuff, and she leaves books everywhere around the house. Can't walk five feet without trippin' over a picture book full of Frank Lloyd Wright's stuff.
[He rubs the stubble on his chin, nodding in a satisfied way. He then turns suddenly towards Doppio, gesturing to himself.]
I've never been to Italy, y'know. I've been to London, once. Traveling can be such a headache, though. I'd wanna go with the wife and kids, and there's a lotta things you gotta take into account with that--
[A pause as he realizes he's been going on about irrelevant details. He stretches out a hand for Doppio to shake, smiling warmly.]
Er, I'm sorry, I didn't even introduce myself. My name's Columbo, how d'you do?

[That... IS a lot. But it seems to be a gentle, harmless kind of "a lot," which Doppio can appreciate, so he is only slightly flustered.]
Oh, um, nice to meet you, Mr. Columbo. [He takes his hand. It's a bit more calloused than one might expect from his baby face.] My name's Doppio. Did you just get here...?
