[Morning, Allura. Surely you weren't betting on being alone. What with the entire Castle here and all. Maybe she hasn't seen the other lions yet! Maybe they're being subtle, or something. Hiding. Well - really only Green hides, but still.]

[So, regardless, you're flying along. Minding your own business when something swoops overhead. The shadow it casts is pretty enormous, even from a Lion's perspective. Is it a pokemon? Some kind of legendary?]

[... Nope.]

[Judging from that roar, it's a friend. A big, black-armored friend.]

[Ah, there they are. Sure enough, who*ever* could be flying that giant lion gets a transmission, a regal face smirking behind the helmet visor.]

I was wondering when you would show up.

[And there he is. Beaming behind his own visor. Right at home in that cockpit - like he'd never even left.]

You're also lucky I heard about all the Lion changes. Otherwise I'd be real confused right now.

Of course. [Sometimes it's easy for her to forget that Shiro's from quite a ways in their past. Still, she can't help a fond sigh.] When I last saw home, Blue and I had been bonded for nearly a decaphoeb.

[It... felt weird, realizing she's been without Blue in the Pokémon world for nearly as long as she'd been with her in their reality.]

[Not really... not quite? Blue knows better, but he also gets those HEART EYES really easy.]

So... what brings you to this neck of the sky? Stretching your legs...?

[Sorry, Blue the Gallade, but she's thoroughly spoken for.]

And my heart. [She leans back in her seat.] It's wonderful to fly like this again. Flying with my Pokémon is always nice as well, but it's not the same.

[The Lion lets out a soft growl that has a feeling like a purr. She'll get competitive if asked outright, but right now she's just savoring the moment.]

Yeah... I know what you mean.

[He really does. Flying is good for his soul at this point. Nothing beats piloting. Nothing. Skarmory comes close, but you just can't beat this.]

[It's good though, to know that they can still miss things from their world, even if this one seems a paradise at times.

A less serious smile begins to cross her lips.]

And of course... our Pokémon can't fly quite as fast, either.

[He angles the Lion to fly under the Blue. Giving the impression of looking upward at Allura.]

[Okay she REALLY should have seen that coming. She only wastes a second to blink and laugh before setting Blue to full throttle as well, the ship roaring as she goes into gear.]

[He's just laughing over the comms. One of those rare unconcerned laughs that doesn't seem like it could come from the serious old man mindset he's got half the time.]

[NYOOOOOOOOOOM.]

[That gets a laugh out of her as well, strong and carefree, and when Allura pushes one of the levers forward it's followed by a loud WOOP, Blue responding easily as she tries to catch back up to Black!]
