Sorry to say it does just happen now and then; a couple times a year, things just... go screwy for a bit. I wish I could say you get used to it, but I sure haven't yet.

Oh man that's a good question; I'd say your best bet would probably be to check out one of the big cities, Pokemon-safe paint sounds like the sorta thing they might have in Goldenrod.

Oooh yeah, this place will do that. I mean, not that I know the specifics in your case, but in general, being here gets very travel-heavy.

Some paints can be toxic to animals - especially if they're prone to grooming themselves with their mouths, which I'm actually not sure Onix do? Could be safe in that regard.

Though, on the other hand, if by ink you mean tattoos, I have no idea how tattooing a Rock-type would work... I'm sure someone's found a way, though.
