Oh yeah, not... new Pokémon that are huge or anything. Just regular Pokémon that got huge.

I'm imagining they were larger than those alpha versions from when we were in Hisui? Like... cartoonishly large?

Uh... Yeah, I think so. I remember some that were like...

[He raises his hand, higher and higher, until his arm is fully extended.]

[Then again, his memory isn't the most reliable. Case in point: there were very tiny Pokémon as well.]

Just when I think the place can't get any crazier... I suppose giant size pokémon are more normal than jumping through different worlds at the drop of a hat.

If we get separated for some strange reason, follow the sun. That will at least lead you to one side of the island, okay?

[He's been leading them west already but it's better to be safe than sorry in case they do get separated.]

Right. You should be able to cross the island within half a day at the most. I imagine we're already towards the center so it shouldn't be too long before we reach something.

[Otherwise, he may very well not be able to get out of here before the weekend is over.]

... Did you ever manage to beat the dragon-type gym you mentioned before?

No... I've been pretty busy.

[Turns out the more popular you get in an "organization" like the Legendary Seekers, the less time you get to stick in one place and battle a gym.]

I guess that depends on how you feel about wild goose chases.

[Honestly, Doppio would probably find them more fun if they led to anything concrete more than 1% of the time. Even a solid 10% would be enough.]

Depends on what the reward is. Is it something interesting?

Well... I'm usually working off of reported sightings, you know? More often than not it's just eyewitness accounts, but sometimes there's pictures.

[The pictures are typically terrible.]

I see what you mean then by a wild goose chase. So are you looking for rare pokémon then?

Yeah, pretty much. Rare Pokémon, legendary Pokémon, stuff that might not even be real...

[Three distinct, but occasionally overlapping categories.]

Not any more than most other people from other worlds here, but... I guess that's still more than what the Legendary Seekers are used to.

If you've got any good research notes, I'd love to read over them sometime. I've beg trying to do research on ghost-types as well as the Legendaries to try and make more sense of the mythos.

[Hmm... Doppio's interest in the matter isn't exactly personal, but having access to Marik's intel could pay off. It's bound to be more reliable than the Legendary Seekers', at least, if not as... frequent.]
