[As the video feed clicks on it's a familiar background for anyone who's been on Route 29. The girl who appears grinning into the feed is a red haired teen with goggles firmly in place and just a touch of madness in those bright green eyes.]

Helloooo there humans and monsters and all in between!

It is I, Gaige the MIGHTY MECHROMANCER! And I am now en route for...wherever isn't New Barf Town.

[She casts a glance over her shoulder as if to make sure she's not being followed.]

Seriously if they didn't want me to go through their trash and mailboxes and stuff they shouldn't have left stuff in them! It's just common knowledge isn't it? I mean you can't just drop a girl into a new world without any weapons and expect her not to try and improvise!

[Which in her case meant trying and failing to loot New Bark Town for guns. Guns they obviously did not have.]

Anyway sooooo let's get to know each other. As I said I am a Mechromancer which is a godlike combination of scientific genius and badass warrior woman.

[Here her voice turns back to irritated and a little whiny]

And since WHATEVER brought me here decided to separate me from two of my greatest inventions...feh...whatever. I'll just have to start from scratch again.

My favorite things are robots, cupcakes, and bringing down corruption through ANARCHY!!!

I've seen real crazy. It's rather dull to me now.

Right now I have seventeen. With a few outliers.

[Ivy turns her own camera, first showing the dozing Ivysaur on her lap, then moving the view up to catch the other 20 creatures milling about in the sunshine.]

[She's starting to remind her of Moxxi honestly.]

[She laughs because it's stupid.]

I can fix just about anything. You got a car that hasn't worked in a decade? I'll either have it running in a day or I'll strip it for parts and make it into a badass robot.

[Her eyes boggle at Ivy's collection.]

Whoa...you weren't kidding. I bet your place smells awesome.

[She smirks.] But I didn't ask for a robot. I asked for a fixed car.

I won't deny we have a certain fragrance.

I gotta get myself a plant type...if video games have taught me anything it's that you gotta balance your elemental damage. The last place I had mostly dealt with Fire, Electricity, Acid, Toxic Slag and Explosions. So...more elements here I'm guessing.

[But Gaige would have loved a gun that shot deadly flowers. Just sayin']

A couple of those seem rather redundant.

I know, you think like....acid is toxic and so is slag right?

Ah! But the difference is the Acid works really well on armor and machines, but Slag increases damage done by non-elemental weapons!

[Geek girl strikes again.]

I usually prefer to use the Electrical weapons or the explosive ones, but I don't like corrosive weapons because they scare my robot Deathtrap.

Oh, of course. That all makes perfect sense. I'm so glad we cleared that up.

Look, Pandora was...a very different place.

It may not make a ton of sense but that's how things worked back there. This is the same place where people hide ammo in their toilets and people get their health care from vending machines.

I wonder how much of that is true and how much is your insanity.

I may be crazy but I'm not hallucination crazy! At least not normally. I was working on this tech that made me more powerful but totally ruined my aim? Anyway sometimes I got...a little out of hand the more my Anarchy circuit was working.

Well, I suppose off the top of my head I would pick the multiverse theory? It's a proven fact where I come from, with many instances of people 'hopping' dimensions and universes.

And we've got that too! It's really hard to do though, the only time I've done it is...well coming here.

But there is a theory that the vaults are doors to other universes...that's why I hunt them. They're dangerous and spit out monsters and destruction and aliens and junk.

The planet the vaults were first discovered on is CALLED Pandora!

I mean...it's a little on the nose right?

At first people thought the Vaults were only on or around Pandora. But now it looks like there's a ton of them out in space.

And every time they open up? Trouble comes out.

And let me guess, this hasn't stopped anyone from opening them up?

I originally just went to Pandora to err...hang out for awhile. Take some time off school you know...it was just a really interesting planet that was dealing with a lot of stuff like evil corporate overlords taking over. The Vault was a big deal to them obviously.

Then next thing I know? I've met the original people to open a vault and I'm running around with them trying to save the freakin' universe!

Well, that does sound exciting. Especially for someone just looking to take a gap year.

You could say...things got out of hand.

[She considers holding up her new artificial hand but since she had that before coming to pandora it would spoil the joke.]
