[Mai appears on the camera, desperately trying to look like her usual happy bubbly self but she's actually failling. Since her arrival into this new world, she had noticed one big missing part of her life. Someone she had found herself talking to and sending messages to quite often. She had promised to teach her to dance and that they would have a routine together with all of their pokemon.
She clung to hope for a long time. Maybe she was just busy helping clear some pokemon mess somewhere and hadn't had the time to check in for a while but she had checked her Gear a few times and she noticed a name was missing. Mai was so sure the name was there before. And then two new pokemon had appeared in her PC and she knew Yachi wasn't coming back. She hadn't come back from the moon prom.]
Hey, Yachi! I don't know if you can see this but I can't send a message directly to you so this was the best I could do. I got Bell and Mari. I promise I'll look after them. I'm not sure where the rest of your party are but if they're out there somewhere, I'll find them. I promise. Until then, I'll just trust that they're somewhere safe.
If ...If you come back, I'm sure they'll love to go back to you so I'll train them as best as I can. I'll swap them out for my own and see if I can keep them in tip top shape for you. I'm really going to miss you! I'm sure that somehow you found a way home from the moon and I know you're definitely happy.
[There is a short pause as if there was more that she wanted to say but all she does is sigh quietly and then she shuts off the feed.]
[Action]
[Mai has wandered away from the group of people trying to coral the phanpy to sit by herself without telling anybody where she was going. It was a real surprise to suddenly find those pokemon were with her. She's possibly having a little cry because Yachi is the first friend that she really made in this world. If anybody wants to send her a message or wander over to chat to her, she wouldn't turn them away. She's just really missing her friend right now.
She doesn't accept video/voice calls when she's sad and crying though so anybody who tries that will probably get disconnected.]
