Maestra, my Furret, showed up in the backyard with a clutch of eggs the other day. Four of 'em! I asked my Pokemon if they knew who the father was, but none of them did, so I just assumed she found a boyfriend out in the wild or something. Which is fine! And she wanted to hatch the eggs herself, so I let her. I figured maybe she found another Furret she liked, but, uh...
[Kazuki turned his camera around to a rather comical sight. In the yard, three little Sentret were bouncing about and running around like baby Pokemon do. And in the center of their furry tornado, was an...]
[...An Absol? It was kind of small, indicating that it was young, but otherwise, it was definitely an Absol. Huge claws, menacing horn, lithe build... It sat in the middle of the gamboling Sentrets with a look of aloof indifference on its face. They climbed all over it, pulled on its tail and gnawed on its horn, but it gave no sign of interest in their play. It stared dully into the space in front of it and heaved a put-upon sigh that ruffled the part of its mane that fell in front of its face.]
I had no idea Furrets could have eggs with Absols.
[No one would fault you for it, Kazuki. Furret was a round, soft coil of fluffy snuggliness, and Absol was angles at every joint, with plenty of pointy parts that it wasn't afraid to use if it felt like it.]
Sorry, Annie. I didn't know Maestra was interested in Lute. Uh... Does anyone want to adopt a Sentret? Free to a good home?
