[The feed opens with the camera turned on John, who’s holding his gear in front of him at arm’s length. Behind him, forested Route scenery is visible. It’s pretty general, but he’s on Route 38, on a rambling return to Goldenrod from Olivine.]

Hey everyone! I felt really bad about missing the birth of Adagio and Cool Hand Luke so when this egg I got at Sevii started making noises, I thought it would be a great idea to stop traveling and start filming! This way it will be preserved for posterity. Baby videos are basically awesome. I bet if I had been born instead of created in a slime lab and dropped from the sky there would be a video of my birth. [Something seems to occur to him, abruptly.] Wait...I was there! I could have just filmed me making myself, that’s so dumb. What a wasted opportunity.

[He appears to hear something, and quickly shuffles his camera around, crouching and pointing it at a generic pokemon egg. The classic white and green game edition. John starts talking again from behind the camera, although he’s become more hushed. Cracks start forming in the shell.]

This time is especially exciting because this is a mystery egg. They lost track of the pokemon, I guess, and this egg could be pretty much anything!

[The cracks spread until they form a web across the entire egg, and the egg begins to wiggle and glow, filling the screen with white that eventually fades to reveal....a tiny clown. A little baby Mime Jr. steps very cautiously off of a pile of shell shards and looks up towards John behind the camera with an open-mouthed smile on her face. There’s a pause as she observes John, and then she puts her palms to her cheeks and mimics him, opening her eyes wide in exaggerated dismay and grimacing.]

...oh. Uh.

[John ends the feed.]

[ The video feed opens with Allura in a pokemon center guest room. She sets her gear down and takes a step back to reveal that she's dolled up in a beautiful dress--though the beaded bodice is a light baby pink, the color shifts to lavender and then light blue along the length of the ruffled train. Her face is beaming with delight. Also worth noting is that her hair, once long enough to reach past her waist, has been cut short, floating around her shoulders.

She gives a little twirl and claps her hands together over her heart, while her pokemon are all nearby making little chirps of approval. ]

My friends, thank you so much for this thoughtful gift! It's so lovely! I'll have to find places to wear it now. Do you suppose it's appropriate attire for gym battles?
