crystalmaster[Radley has mostly been keeping to himself since Prom. He's still available to answer questions on the Network when he can, and takes walks with the Eevees in the area, but otherwise has been staying at the Pokemon Center. It's about time to move on, he thinks. He's considering some different building possibilities for his restaurant and/or Eevee breeding, but hasn't made a final decision yet.
He definitely doesn't mean to broadcast anything, but somehow the video feed is on and he's laying on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. His egg is on his chest and he's holding it firmly yet gently with both hands. When it starts to glow, he jumps and then stares down at it. Evie and Evan, who are resting on the bed on either side of him, also perk up.
He sits up, staring intently at the egg. Should he get someone? Should he hold still? Before he can decide, the egg hatches and he's holding an adorable little Eevee. It looks up at him seriously, worriedly, and makes an adorable sound as it cuddles him.
Radley holds it close.]
Hey there. We've all been waiting for you. Welcome to the world.
[Evie and Evan exclaim for joy and join the cuddle. Their baby snuggles them and they all rub each other and start running across Radley and the bed. He's soon laughing; it's hard to stay discouraged with such cuteness going on.
The baby soon runs back to Radley and snuggles him some more. It seems to know Radley has been taking care of it all this time, and that Radley has been sad, and it wants to make it better. Perhaps that is why it hatched today.
Radley holds it close. He soon determines it's a male, and although he has been puzzling over a name, he thinks he finally has one. He doesn't know why he wants to call the little guy this, but somehow it just sounds right.]
Kiryu.... My little Kiryu....
[He had wanted friendship from the human Kiryu, Kalin, and had failed. But this serious and sweet Eevee is giving it wholeheartedly.
Kiryu purrs, seeming to like his name. He rubs Radley again and Radley gathers all his Eevees into an embrace.
This is a good day. And now Radley is finally sure what he's going to do.]
