[The video feed opens to Chai, his hair a mess and his face covered in sand. He spits out a mouthful of sand onto the ground, trying to wipe out his mouth with his scarf--which also happens to be covered in sand. He's sitting on the ground outside of an Orthworm hole, ]

Man, I didn't know snakes could shoot sand at you in this world...and unless sand snakes are cryptids around here, I don't think I found any new evidence in the hole.

[He shakes himself like a dog trying to rid himself of water. A few flecks of sand come off, but he's just as sandy as he was before. Just off-camera, something lets out an insulted meow.]

Oh--right, um.

[Chai reaches off-screen and shows off a...purple cat? He's got it scruffed in one hand, and it doesn't look terribly pleased.]

Did anyone in Goldenrod City lose their cat? This guy just kind of wandered up to me after I dragged myself out of the hole and sat on me. I mean, it's got different fur, so it can't be a stray, right?
