Have you had much issue adjusting? Even years after your waking in this world? Or any issue at all.
Things perhaps you had stopped considering, until events have brought them back to light.

2nd track - video
rhythmaction[The video feed opens to Chai, his hair a mess and his face covered in sand. He spits out a mouthful of sand onto the ground, trying to wipe out his mouth with his scarf--which also happens to be covered in sand. He's sitting on the ground outside of an Orthworm hole, ]
Man, I didn't know snakes could shoot sand at you in this world...and unless sand snakes are cryptids around here, I don't think I found any new evidence in the hole.
[He shakes himself like a dog trying to rid himself of water. A few flecks of sand come off, but he's just as sandy as he was before. Just off-camera, something lets out an insulted meow.]
Oh--right, um.
[Chai reaches off-screen and shows off a...purple cat? He's got it scruffed in one hand, and it doesn't look terribly pleased.]
Did anyone in Goldenrod City lose their cat? This guy just kind of wandered up to me after I dragged myself out of the hole and sat on me. I mean, it's got different fur, so it can't be a stray, right?

01 - Deep Space Pokemon Action!
oleaeuropaeaa. Somewhere on Route 29
[Well, after the... thrilling start that Vash had back in New Bark Town, he finds that he's ready for a bit of normalcy. Sure, the trees are a little out of the ordinary considering where he's spent most of his life, but being on the road and constantly moving? That's normal enough. Getting attacked by weird creatures? Also pretty normal! Proceeding to run from said creatures? Yeah, you get the idea.
But while Vash may be used to running away instead of fighting, his companion isn't. She knows the rules of this world, and before Vash can get too far, she's already knocked out the poor Spearow that was pursuing them.
Which is why you might come across Vash, seated up against a tree, calmly lecturing the little creature.]
Now I know you were just trying to be a good friend, but you can't go around attacking creatures like that. He was just defending his territory — nothing wrong with that.
[Sure, the Pokemon are only unconscious and will recover well enough. And yes, he's done the same in the name of self-defense. But after a century of doing his best to stay his hand, it still feels uncomfortable to lift it once more, even if these creatures don't necessarily fall within the bounds of his promise.]
b. Cherrygrove City
[Somehow, the duo manages to make their way to Cherrygrove without much issue. Yes, a few more creatures get knocked out along the way, but at least they seem to have come to an understanding about it. Which is why Vash is more than happy to reward the little Mimikyu when they finally reach civilization.]
It hardly seems fair for you to be walking around with a rag on. [Vash clutches a small tube of fabric, red not unlike his own jacket. It's safety pinned in the back to make a pseudo dress.] Now, why don't we get that peeled off and put you into something nice?
[And that is precisely when Vash reaches down to pull the Mimikyu's rag up. Will you help him? Or are you about to watch a man suffer?]
c. Network (video)
[One way or another, Vash does somehow manage to survive his encounter with the Mimikyu's true visage! Still, it's left him feeling a bit... curious. He fixes his camera on the Mimikyu as she toddles around, speaking from behind it.]
Are all of these creatures so... quirky? Mine doesn't really like to be seen without her, uh... clothes, I guess? Do they all have little traits like that, or is mine just special?

cyan_maidThis is a call to any trainers in the Goldenrod area - yes I know we had alarms and news flashes but this is a personal callout to those of us who've made this city their home!
[Jane looks fairly harried - hair a mess, clothes dirty - like in the hours since the worms made their presence known, all she's done is try to mitigate damage as best as she can do alone...]
If someone else has organized a response to this that isn't made up of just natives I'll jump right in, but so far I've just been trying to help folks navigate stupidly large holes and only just made it to the Pokemon Center. I'm going to check if the nurses and patients inside are alright, but if there's anyone nearby who needs some backup, if we could all just meet up over here or by a landmark and tackle this together, I'm sure we can get things down to a something resembling control-
[Jane stops and turns around, and now you can see the Goldenrod City Pokemon Center behind her. And it's, uh. You know that thing in cartoons when something is digging under the ground and leaves a visible trail on the surface? Yeah, it looks like a couple Orthworms are burrowing in that direction.
The speed of the shift in Jane's expression from "exhausted but hanging on" to "Kirby's Fucking Pissed" is simply incredible.]

In my time being here, there certainly has been some few theories on what the nature of this world we find ourselves in is. Whether it is its own true living world, a simulation of one, or perhaps even a game. I have mine own theories, but this isn't quite about that.
Nay, I cannot help but wonder that, should this world prove itself a simulation, to what purpose do you believe it would serve? What would its creator wish to glean from this all? Or, if not to acquire knowledge from those of us within, then what is our collective purpose?
It is a thought I find myself considering now and again, and so I wish to know my fellow imports' thoughts on the matter—hypothetical as it may yet prove to be.

Well, except for the rain lately, but he doesn't mind the changes in weather too much; sure it gets a little uncomfortable in the pockets of muggy weather in his long-sleeved shirt and pants he never switches up the length on, but he copes.]
[What's been the real problem, however, is figuring out just which of his ten cats, evenly split between Skittys and Sprigatitos, is knocking over his plants on the windowsill, brought in from getting too much water in the rain. He knows it's not his Oddish or Flabébé, they're well-behaved little guys, so that leaves....all the cats. Mother Schmooples and Father Tito are tentatively ruled out, being the ones supposed to set good examples for their offspring.]
[The first video to go out by Vash is accidental. The recording isn't, but the posting is. The camera is set facing a potted plant for about ten minutes before a little Sprigatito with a yellow collar jumps up onto the windowsill, sniffs the plant, and just...knocks it over. Then it jumps down, the video goes on for a while longer until Vash's mechanical hand comes into view.]
Aw, man...that didn't take long.
[He picks up the PokéGear and ends the feed.]
[Some time passes while he plays back the footage. Then the second, this time purposeful video post opens up to Vash holding a yellow-collared, smaller than fully-grown Sprigatito in one flesh hand, and he's smiling sheepishly as he bounces the baby a bit for emphasis.]
H-hey, anyone know how I can keep this little guy from knocking over plants? Found out he's the culprit, but I don't really know what to do about it. Any help would be appreciated!

rhythmactionits pretty awesome that this place has a built-in soundtrack, but man, whoever's putting on the playlist needs to up the tempo a little. add some guitars, some synths...yknow stuff to get you pumped about being on an adventure!
