4th Match // [video / action] Route 38 (November 1st)

[Today's video is focused on a Blaziken - the tall bird is reclining peacefully on the ground not too far from what seems to be a road, head propped on one hand-like claw, and very patiently tolerating a small yellow Charmander using it as a living climbing structure.

The Blaziken only moves when the Charmander starts to wobble, reaching out to steady it with its free claw.

The touching scene is sadly interrupted when the guy behind the camera speaks up, his voice a grumbling yet concerned growl:]

Torch dragons are orange. Is this one sick?

Looks like that Charmander is a shiny. They're very rare. He's not sick, it's just to tell him apart from the regular Charmanders.

Yeah. You could use it as a golden mallet or use his fire moves too. He'll grow into a huge golden dragon once he reaches his final evolution.

[Aaah, it's the voice of the guy who wrecked shit with her yesterday! And that is definitely his Chicken friend. Who else has a chicken like that? Nobody, that's who. But what is the Torch Dragon? Thida looks at the video very closely, so all Krieg can see for about half a minute is the upper part of her face, and all he can hear is her thoughtful humming.]

He's got a fire tail.

Ah, no, it's not sick. It seems sometimes pokemon are hatched with unusual colours. Those are called shinies. They are as strong as normal pokemon, they just look a little different. You're lucky, it's quite rare.

[The growl in his voice is more like a purr as he extends the last syllable of his statement. Creepy? Heck yes. Enthusiastic? Also yes. It sure is a mixed bag with this guy.]

[The feed opens with a large, black Charizard staring at the camera with a pout. Seems she was pinged by this talk of unusual coloring! And she's had insecurities before about her own shininess.

Trust me, it's nothing to worry about. Personally, I think the black and red looks great on 'em-- and that's what you have to look forward to.

[Well, in that case, he's definitely not going to complain about that. Orange is his favorite color, but black and red are both totally okay colors too. They remind him of Zer0.]

[It's pretty clear in the tone of his voice that he couldn't be happier with his new little buddy. And, as if on cue, a little yellow Charmander head peeks up over Krieg's right shoulder, and blinks bashfully at the 'Gear.]
